ATA is a really accurate armor builder that was previously only available in HIPS plastic, which is no where near as strong as ABS plastic.

Yes that's right, ATA kits are now being pulled in ABS. I don't know the exact price but it's under 500 and there are plans to do a run in black in the future!

We have one here, he just needed to redo the front of his belt for final approval. That was before CV and he was there wearing it. Haven't heard anything on it since though. As seen here (from left to right : Bro Browning, Kevin Lyons, Izzi, and me peeping over the balcony)

Yeah, if that gold doesn't match the paint then you'll have to find a paint that matches it. And that might not be as easy.

Having black ABS and knowing how hard it is to keep it shined up and scratch free, I'd hold out for an ABS kit, because I can't imagine the constant work a painted kit would require. But that's me. If you have to scout now, then by all means, paint it up and scout now.
