There's a guy in my garrison who is a well known maker of these boots (probably the same one Hopfot is referencing). I've already asked if he can do them in black and he can. Say the word and I'll get you in touch.

I used the inside elastic idea so I can open either end and store stuff inside it. The clips are cell phone clips so I can remove it from the belt with ease.

You should just send that out here. I'd get it finished in a week. Then I'd be Blackmagma?...Magma...hole? .. On second thought, you keep it.

I think he's wanting to see pics of how everything holds together. Strap/snap systems and such.

The kits aren't any walk in the park, but they get easier the more you do. I imagine you'll have fun trying to get all that on because of the weight. You'll need some serious straps and snaps.

Haven't heard any complaints about mine. One thing you might want to do is put a dark film on the lens on the inside, I've noticed with a few pics that if the light hits them wrong you can see my eyes.

The great thing is your attention to detail. You being the first, I think you just need to get it made, then worry about the small mods. I wouldn't have noticed those minor things until you just pointed them out. But, I'm also not working on this. I'm sure there's a few liberty's you can take. I dunno that the length of the fins is going to be a big issue. Just my .02, can't wait to see more.

No only the "Jodhpurs" or " Chelsea" styles are canon. Which is what the Amsterdam's are.
