  1. Yeah, post them all up. Looks like we're getting a whole family of Novatroopers! -iz
  2. You're the "Sukkah!" It got copied twice and you never saw a single royalty check! -iz
  3. Hmm... I've never done anything inside my bucket... -iz
  4. I'd say that red looks pretty dang close. Have you found some in-game shots of them walking around? -iz
  5. If the reference allows you to mirror them, then do so, otherwise keep them asymetrical. Yeah, the shins look to be killer to replicate. Especially since you need to find a way to put them on and take them off too. -iz
  6. Dormant... Life hasn't lent itself well to armor building at the moment. -iz
  7. Things look good to me! What is Sith'ari's paint scheme? Is it different? Hmm.... The stitching on the pouch is up to you. I don't believe you'll get docked for white stitching. Just look up and contact your local garrison, to see if they're available to attend any events you're in charge of. -iz
  8. Let's first get through the holidays. Also, we have plans for both a new Shirt, coin and patch run coming up next year for our S.O.S. anniversary. Maybe we can tack it onto that run, but only 501st members can create, distribute and buy 501st Legion branded merchandise. Further, any Spec Ops merchandise really should be handled by a Spec Ops member. Unless Crazas states otherwise, I'm going to suggest that this be tabled until the Detachment can properly discuss it. -iz
  9. You're talking berets, right? You can put me down for one, but remember that if there is interest, we still need to get Legion approval first BEFORE we can do a run. -iz
  10. Looks pretty good. Your chest plate is tucked into your left side though. -iz
  11. Love the pic for the "crappy way" of wearing a beret! -iz
  12. This gathers ALL references for the troopers. The CRLs would be the guidelines to follow. Who knows, if more references show up in the future it may be accepted one day. The problem is WotC detailing is pretty soft when it comes to their pictures, so I believe that's why it's the odd man out. -iz
  13. It all depends on the finished product and the LMO with input from the GMLs. If it doesn't look like craft foam in the end, then I don't see a problem. -iz
  14. Yeah you can trim them. Mine sit above my knees so I can walk/run. (Plus I'm just tall.) Also grind down any return on the top of the thigh if you haven't already, and see how high you can pull them up without hindering your hip joint, first. Take a paint brush and clean up the rough edges of the gold as well. -iz
  15. The Helmet stripe determines it all: Vertical stripe = Backpack, ammo pouches and no drop boxes Horizonal Stripe = Drop boxes and no Backpack or ammo pouches. -iz
  16. I hear shoe polish works well for that too. -iz
  17. Hmm.... It looks very pink on this monitor. Hey, might be a good idea to grab some in-game shots of them walking around as well. -iz
  18. Yeah, no one should listen to my ramblings to assume anything is actually for sale. He just knows that if I don't get a bucket, I'll take his spear-gun-blaster-thingy (technical term) away. -iz
  19. Okay, my quick and dirty list: Shins don't really line up in the back, so you may want to play around with them and it may take some additional trimming to get them to look right. Right thigh isn't sitting right, not sure if that is because of how you're standing or if you need to adjust the strapping. Your black suspenders are pretty visible so you probably need to see what you can do to pull them in as far under the chest and back armor as possible. I had to turn mine into an "H" strap to fix the problem Pauldron looks great like that! I may have to repaint mine... -iz
  20. Sounds great! I'll expect you to swim it over to me, personally, when it's done! Awesome work so far! -iz
  21. Okay a word of warning before going through with this. Pay close attention to the color of the stripes: Maybe it's just my monitor, and I'll take another look on my desktop later, but these do not seem like basic red stripes, they almost seem more like a funky purple. I believe dark Novatroopers wear the same color. The color WILL keep this from being approved. Dartoftruth's swamp trooper's approval is currently being delayed for closer color matching. If they are in fact red and the picture's color is distorted for some reason then be sure you get some pictures that show the correct color. If I figure out how to change the shin stripe on the AM armor, I may pick this up as well. Always room for another Nova variant! (I'm always going to be watching your Dark Trooper progress, as I want a Dark Novatrooper, and is planned to tackle after Vader next year) -iz
  22. My bucket isn't in the mail yet... what gives? -iz
