  1. Grab white armor and paint it. The scout armor isn't prone to scratching as none of the plastic pieces rub together. Or... Start on the soft parts and get your cummerbund, neckseal and jumpsuit out of the way, to buy you time to see if they start pulling black again, -iz
  2. It's not pink, it's... light red? -iz
  3. Hmm... The knee plate looks slightly awkward. Looks like you're moving on this, though. -iz
  4. Nice work! So... My bucket will be here tomorrow, right? -iz
  5. MC bucket is fiberglass though! So nice.... -iz
  6. Yeah, when I get back to building my armor the step by steps (sort of) will all end up here on the forums. -iz
  7. Yeah, he was approved on the 5th! -iz
  8. Ouch dude... that one hurt.... -iz
  9. I'll think about it.... Let me get back to you in 3-4 months... -iz
  10. AM stands for Atin Miller when it comes to scout armor. Different than the Armor Master for TK. -iz
  11. Better for sneaking around! -iz
  12. And your wife makes a great scout! -iz
  13. FX/AM is 501st acceptable as is. If you want to do mods for the Specialist program that's a detachment thing, but does not have any standing of 501st or detachment membership. -iz
  14. Yeah, what he said! Size the shins with the Boots and size the chest and back while you're wearing your ab and kidney plates. -iz
  15. Rustoleum professional leaves a nice shine. Plus if you can get the floor acrylic "Pledge with Future Shine" (Yeah Pledge bought the brand and had to slap it's name on it somehow) That stuff with shine almost anything to a high gloss. Even some matte black HIPs. It could save you another paint job. -iz
  16. Ah, My favorite topic! First off, rip out all the eFX padding (even the stuff around the eyes) they try properly padding it. That may change things a bit. (Unless you're trying to keep it in a collectible condition, but then you shouldn't be trying it on for trooping! ) Now the CAP-W and eFX are shaped a bit differently, and I believe the CAP-Ws are a bit more circular, but in general the eFX is larger than the CAP-W. So if you grab a Cappy then it'll be a gamble on whether or not you'll fit in it. I've heard RT-MODs are larger and they look nice, however I do not own one.... yet. The other option is an FX/AM bucket, which are the largest ones you can get (That I know of), however accuracy in the small details are lacking. People will still know what you are at a glance though. (If you post something up in the junkyard, there may be some trooper with an FX/AM helmet that he or she wouldd be willing to part with.) -iz
  17. Very cool. Should be an easy approval! -iz
  18. Moved at the request of Cole... Looks like the Nova Virus has caught another one. -iz
  19. Nice... But I still want pics! -iz
  20. Your sister is based somewhere on this planet? Well... Why hasn't she signed up on the forums yet? Can't wait to see how this turns out. -iz
  21. Technically, no. TXs don't have a reference for ever being equipped with them... (Why do TKs have comlinks anyway? ANH clearly showed the comm in the helmet.) But, if your garrison let's you rock them, either through indifference or ignorance, I'm not going to say a thing. -iz
  22. Auto body paint is pretty durable, so I don't think white armor would be a problem. And it would be cheaper to replace parts down the line as well and have them atch up if scratched... Unless you were having them paint a CAP-W... I'm sure parts for that will be around awhile. -iz
  23. Looks pretty good. Tube stripes look a bit low, but they should pass. -iz
