  1. Some reference pictures. These are from the Battlefront game.
  2. Below is the updated gray version of the shin armor.
  3. Finished with this build. Will post more pics and details of the build, later. But below are the photos.
  4. Going to create a mold for resin parts and vacform others.
  5. Working with someone now to vacform the pack. Going to base it off this work and complete this pack. Now that I finished the Battlefront Magmatrooper Pack, I have some time.
  6. Thanks Tony, you are the master of all builds. A quick update on the pack. I am getting a model of the thrusters from a gentlemen who makes Boba Fett packs (I will add his name here). Should have those in about 2 weeks. I finally got my forming putty in so I can finish the look of the pack, add the detail, and smooth out the corners. Once that is complete, I will be looking at vacforming this pack in parts so I can make them faster and this kind of pack will look great using this method.
  7. Update on the Spacetrooper Pack. The idea is this will have 3 levels to it. Build is going to include resin and vacformed parts and maybe some 3D printed parts. Kits will be made, once completed an approved by the appropriate parties. We are working on having attached directly to the back using strong magnets. Since this will be hollow, it will be light. Going to even have a version where the large horizontal cylinder opens and the clear tube comes out. 3D model is still in progress. This is all based off of the pictures from the original movie and the Sideshow Figure. Reference pics will be added later. Follow this link for the reference photos, at this time. http://www.501st.com...=93273&start=30
  8. The respirator model and mold are complete. This is a picture of the first resin one. Now all I have to do is add the red LED Light, paint black and install the magnets to hold onto the helmet. I am now at the point where I can put the final touches on this entire package (pack, shin armor, respirator system).
  9. Hello You will enjoy this process. It can feal a little daunting at first, but we are all here to help. Just start simple. I recommend starting with this forum: http://www.whitearmo...ead-this-first/ it will get you going in the right direction. It is from FISD site, but the armor is the same. I would also visit this forum for this detachment http://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/forum/39-armor-tips-tricks-and-tutorials/ If you want to see some of the builds people are currently doing then you can check out this forum: http://www.whitearmo...stunt-and-hero/ There are some great step by step build threads in this forum. Everyone here is extremely helpful, just ask. Good luck
  10. Latest Progress Photos on the Pack and Shins Guards (Respirator Photos Coming Soon)
  11. Latest progress on the Jump Pack. Almost done with the face of the pack. Remaining PVC should be in this week, so I can build sides and back. Still alot of details to work on. Need to find someone who can help me with metal thrusters on the sides and the heat shields.
  12. I was able to spend a little time on the Jump Pack, last night. Below are some of the photos. First, I am constructing this via 2D, then I will add the depth and make it 3 dimensional. Then all of the detail work... By the way, I am posting all of these pictures from Facebook instead of Photobucket. (Much easier).
  13. This is my first attempt at the Template for the Jump Pack. What do you guys think? Tomorrow (tonight) I will begin forming the PVC for my Prototype.
  14. Here are some additional reference pictures I am using. It appears there are at least 3 types of Jump Packs: 1. Shadow Trooper Jump Pack - Black 2. Storm Trooper Jump Pack - White 3. Rebel jump Pack - Green - the pack itself is different. (Obviously I will not be building this one). Additional Reference Pictures:
  15. You did not happen to download the pictures from this site did you? They appear to be gone from the album.
  16. I have started the official build thread in a different location. Click on the link below to follow. http://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/topic/4619-crookknights-battlefront-jump-pack-build/
  17. I am beginning the Jump Pack Build My thought process here is to use PVC Foam Board for the creation of the prototype. From there, I will be able to create molds for Vac-Forming and/or 3D printing. The prototype will be built in white and a second one will be constructed in black. I personally want a black one, since I am slowly building a Shadow Trooper. It is not my intention to take this project over from anyone, I just currently have the time to be able to work on this. Please feel free to comment on this thread as much as you want. I am sure there will be some trial and error (just like with the Magma (Sullust) Trooper pack).
  18. Thanks. I do still have work to do on the details. Especially on the Fins. I still need to add the vertical components and some of the square cut-outs. I am currently weathering it some and brushing it up. I am finally going to start the Jump Pack this week, while I wait for my Shadow Trooper Kit to come in from WTF.
