  1. Hey, Good idea. I totally forgot I have this sitting in a box. I will get it out and start on the helmet. Be nice to start on my own stuff for once.
  2. I am pricing a full commission for someone and need to know where I can source the following parts: Neckseal & Apron Poncho Elbow Gaskets Gloves Abdominal/Kidney Gasket Belt Undersuit Shorts Knee Gaskets Boots Neuro-Saav Macromotion (NSM) Monitor Blaster E-11D Thank you for your assistance.
  3. Below is the updated pack. We have resized the top. Let me know what you think.
  4. Hey everyone. What is the Stormtrooper called in the pictures? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes. Please send it to me. We are starting work off the picture you posted above. my email is crookknight@gmail.com
  6. I have not started making a new pack yet. Does everyone agree on the new dimensions? If so, I will get a rendering done and post here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The pack turned out great. I will come up with a version that meets L2 and does not show the frame. Pretty much that will involve a Vacuum Formed version with all 4 boxes and the backplate done in one ABS pull. It will take a couple of tries, but i should be able to get a good mold that will allow for that. BTW, I am Crookknight with Crookknight's Imperial Trooper Packs. We worked with Neal on design and production of this pack.
  8. Yes. I would remove the screws first. After that you should be able to pry it off, since I used E6000 glue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Can you remove the back connection and just attach the pack back plate directly to your armor? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. One thing I know for sure is that looking at the reference photos being used, the upper cannister is too big. Once final dimensions are agreed upon, I will make a new one for Matt and send it to him at no charge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I put the same pack on a 6 foot tall mannequin . I will post the photos of that to see what you think about the length of the pack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. OK. Let me know the final sizing of the canisters and I can make the change and Post 3-D model with dimensions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Just for everyone's information. I am Crookknight with Crookknight's Imperial Trooper Packs. We designed the pack based on the size of the Stormtrooper in the video game. So that could cause some deviation in the appearance of the size of the pack to the wearer. For example, if someone is shorter than the original model, it would appear to big and vice versa for if someone was tall or larger.
  14. @Matt let me know if you need my assistance. I could downsize some parts if needed. Also, we could re-look at the back connection to make it more flush. Let me know if you need measurements also. I can pull it off the 3D model. Matt, how tall are you?
  15. I just received my missing pieces to the armor (greeblies), so I am ready to get started. I have all of the soft goods coming from Crow Props.
  16. Just got my hard armor in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I have a backpack customer looking for some flame trooper armor. He had ordered it from KB Props but he shut his business down. Anyone else make the armor? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I know if I look really hard, I can find a Scout that wears a pack.
  19. Thank you for the advice on the suit. I will check out Wampa Wear.
  20. Wondering if I could get everyone's opinion on 2 different types of flight suits. One costs $48 USD and the other is $184 USD. I am looking for accuracy and if one does better in heat. Option 1. This is the less expensive version. TRU-SPEC Poly / Cotton Twill 27/P Flight Suits The TRU-SPEC flight suit was inspired by the design of U.S. Flyers 27-P coveralls and is ideal for both flight and ground crews. This Mil-Spec garment features a 7-pocket design with a 2-way front zipper for easy on-off functionality. With plenty of room to keep equipment on your person, the pocket configuration includes two chest pockets, two waist pockets, two extra-large calf pockets and a vertical zip pocket with bellowed pen/pencil slots. Built from a 65% polyester / 35% cotton twill fabric, it offers the job-specific characteristics of a genuine military flight suit without a fire-retardant or nomex material. Features of TRU-SPEC Poly / Cotton Twill 27/P Flight Suits Meets Mil-Spec FNS / PD 96-17 Two slant chest pockets with a zipper closure One zipper pocket on the left shoulder Velcro pencil pocket located on top of the left shoulder pocket Two calf pockets One Velcro pocket located on the right calf pocket 2-way front zipper Ankle zipper closures Gusseted back for a high-mobility fit Hook-and-loop waist tabs Made in China Option 2: The more expensive option. Propper CWU 27/P Nomex Flight Suits When you want a high-quality, flame-resistant coverall that's identical to those worn by all U.S. flight crews, look no further than the Propper CWU 27/P Nomex Flight Suit. As one of the leading suppliers of apparel the U.S. military, Propper knows how to make a tried-and-true military garment. Built from non-melting Nomex fabric, it keeps you protected without weighing you down. This flight suit features six primary pockets with zipper closures and a gusseted, bi-swing back for a full range of motion. Sewn to military specification FNS/PD 96-17 (MIL-C-83141A), it offers toughness with every stitch. 21. I will finally be building a Shadow Scout. This is something I have wanted to do for some time and I actually won the armor from Walt's Trooper Factory. Should have it in a couple of weeks. Considering I have never built a Scouttrooper, this should be interesting. Going to post my progress here so I can get any advice that I might need. Looking forward to it. I only have the hard armor coming to me, so I will have to find all of the other pieces. I am assuming I can find everything I need (or guidance) within this Detachment page. Armor: Walt's Trooper Factory Helmet: Walt's Trooper Factory Gloves: Crow Props Boots: Crow Props Cumberbund: Crow Props Neck Seal: Crow Props Vest: Crow Props Flight Suit: ....
  22. I just realized that i have never had to build a helmet before. Does anyone have or know of a good thread and can check out to make sure I do this right? My armor is WTF, but it does not matter to me what thread I look at. Just need to look at the overall process. Thanks.
