Hey Mika, for the helmet you could try IronMotion, a seller from germany, i've just talked to them yesterday and they sell a fully assembled helmet as well as a kit... https://www.ironmotion.de/ and for the T-21, if you are a selfmade guy, get the 3D printed parts and make it by yourself, this is the cheapest way but i dont think you will find this anywhere cheaper than this 150$ you were talking about. I just built a T-21, i've got the raw parts from a 3D printer, you need to sand them and paint them and then you have some like this: At the end i had costs all about like 300€ (with the leather sling). To lower the costs, contact your local garrison and ask them if there is someone who prints these parts... If you have any questions just ask here and we will help! AND a blaster is not necessary for your approval, it is only optional...

I have got this stanley box, my complete armor plus helmet and E-11 fits in there perfectly... https://www.amazon.de/Stanley-Werkzeugbox-Metallverschlüssen-herausziehbarem-1-93-278/dp/B001SY0OUS

You could check out the specialist approvals and compare your armor with what is wanted for specialist level, of course this is not needed but you can see a lot of things on these pictures. New Specialists post their armor and the SpecOps Team tells them what needs to be done to reach the highest level in that armor class.... compare that to your armor and read the CRL to check how things must be and you are on a very good way to get your regular approval or even later the specialist rank.

If you would live in germany, i would recommend IronMotion, they have probably the best service world wide, you gonna make an appointment with them- visit them, they take your measures - build your costume, you gonna eat a pizza and later they even make pictures with you for your 501st application...and after this you take your costume home, all on one day...

Shadow Trooper kit ordered - a few initial questions
Halycon replied to Dadofsix's topic in Shadow Stormtrooper
First of all you dont need to paint em, they can remain black but if you want to you can paint them in silver or gray. Read the CRL for Shadowtrooper: https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TX_shadow_stormtrooper NO specific silver or gray is needed. -
I am not quite sure but the return edge on your right thight looks like there is a part missing.

Congratulations SpecOps brother! Awesome work you look stunning!!!

viva espania!

They work for specialist. Good work Marlon, hope you get an answer soon...
-
It definitely looks glossy enough for me, good job Mason! I know exactly what you went through, keep you head up bro. The end zone is close!!!
-
Come on Mason ... bring it on, show us your Armor, time to get approved bro!
-
If you say so....youre right! haha..

Your helmet must be as heavy as a mandalorian heavy trooper helmet made by Master Replica ... lol
-
Dont forget to put a little black net or some like that on the inside of the teeth. I would also recommend to place the battery pack more in the front section of the helmet, if you can manage the cable stuff ,to keep the weight balanced.

I got my weapons from rs prop masters in the uk, i will send you a link in a pm. I have the E11 and the DLT19 and they are pretty cool but have their weight, i am a big guy and can carry them arround easy, dont know if thats an issue for you...

Just if you click on em to get a bigger picture would be much better to see more details

Awesome progress Chris, i like the gloss of the helmet... you seem to be on a good way! Would it be possible to post a picture with a higher resolution and not that small?

I am approved my friends, my GMO told me last night and now i just have to wait for my ID from the u.s. 501st headquarter... it was a pleasure with all of you , many thanks for all your help and the support. Now it is time for the final step, i made about 50 pictures for my specialist application yesterday and i have learned that hard work and believe in what i am doing can open many doors in the 501st. It's time to move out and open a thread in the specialist programm... see you on the other side ;D

Btw friends... RS took the Shadowtrooper out of their shop. It could really be that Marlon and I have the last RS shadows. If this is the end of this story.... i mean if we brought the RS shadows to the graveyard, this would be an epic end and for me personally an end all the pain and work and time was worth it.

That is why I said you’re a hero... it doesn’t take much time to answer a request or respond to a question, it is a matter of your attitude! Do a job and do it right... or get to f..k outta there... just my opinion ;D

Shadowtrooper stories: Another year went by... its 2020 and i haven't heard something from my gmo, since i sended the new pictures i start to believe there is no more hope... the years come and go and i feel like i am the only shadowtrooper left in germany without a garrison... darkness surrounds me, has the empire left me, am i forgotten in a world full of rebels? I don't know, i never had to wait so long for something, even my imperial education and training to an elite shadow stormtrooper feels like a short walk in the park compared to this.. what can i do? Should i take the next transporter to the 70th Explorers, i've heard their gmo is a pretty cool guy and helps lost TX units in need...or is the mighty Raider, the heroic leader of all TX detachments able to help with his unbelivable wisdom and power, i don't know... i've even read the forbidden rebel book luke skywalker and the shadows of mindor, can you imagine how desperate i must be? waiting... waiting.... is there a light at the end or just eternal darkness..

I will start a thread asap, i got to wait until i get approved i think?
