  1. Or this one here. I think we can clearly see the difference.
  2. I wish I could agree with you. Unfortunately, it appears the finish on the boxes is truly different. In this picture here, I think we can clearly see the difference between the classic gun metal belt buckle and the matte belt boxes they have used for Aldhani. Lighting isn't a factor, here. I'm using my OT belt boxes for so many costumes. I wish I could do the same with my Rogue One sized one but I fear I will have to dedicate them to my Aldhani trooper costume.
  3. Sounds good to me! I still wonder if the U shaped adjustment notch wouldn't be better as a level 2 requirements since it's hardly noticeable on "regular" photos. Having it as a level 2 requirement would make the basic level 1 costume slightly more accessible / affordable and GMLs won't have to ask close up photos of the gloves.
  4. Thanks for doing these tests. I will certainly follow your progress.
  5. I still believe it's a bad practice that shouldn't be used for this CRL. What if the company cease to exist? Is not available in several countries? Why should we care about the brand of something? We don't ask most piece of costume to be of a specific brand and I'm not sure why it's important for this particular item. Something I could see mentioned for level 2, it's the U shaped adjustment notch at the bottom of the wrist. It's hardly noticeable and is covered by the sleeves most of the time.
  6. Not sure it's a good idea to specify a brand for level 2 requirement. Also, the wording is a bit vague. If Dent gloves are most accurate, does it mean that it is required for level 2?
  7. Not sure to see the gloss for the white. I would keep it for the black stripes only.
  8. I see the term "Garrison Checkpoint version" mentioned, does it mean that we don't assume the others armored troopers we see elsewhere (like near the lake, or in the vault) are the same?
  9. What about the "hero" version instead of "Andor & cie"? Would be coherent with the classic ANH TK costumes.
  10. Do we know if there is any other way to attach these hooks? I'm really not familiar with them.
  11. I feel this is confusing. If it's optional, why put it in the requirements for level 2 at all? It could stay in level 1 with the optional mention .
  12. It's just that I think the matte black wording seemed a bit too vague for me. It looks more greenish/greyish than pure black to me. I think the color of the helmet/armor pieces is critical of the way the costume looks. It might be the lighting. The very first Star Wars costume I worked on was a grey imperial officer so I know a bit about this ? But I would certainly be glad to hear the opinion of someone who had a firsthand view of the costume.
  13. It's certainly not the point of it, for sure. I just wanted to point out that sometimes, "matte black" (it certainly doesn't look glossy to me, at least) can be fairly vague and I was wondering if the color description couldn't be more precise. Anyhow, I will remove the picture since it seems to bring some confusion.
  14. Hello all. Long time 501st/IOC member very interested by this costume ? I'm wondering if it should not be a bit more specific for the color. It seems to me a fairly light back, somewhat greyish. Hrmm.
