  1. Whelp here I am 2 hours later and I've officially submitted! Here's my photos for y'all to look at as well.
  2. My replacement leather arrived today! Finishing up assembling what I needed and I should be ready for submission photos in about 2 hours or so
  3. Good evening Spec Ops, after last weeks episodes of Andor, I finally convinced myself to get a security trooper. APPROVED! Sources: Hat/Tunic/Pants HAVE - Jim Tripon. He's done great by me in the past, and I trust his process. Plus seeing what he made for Pyro, it seems like a good option. Price is a big factor too. Belt Boxes HAVE - From BaileyBuilds, I actually already have a set of these for my ISB, but to my knowledge I can't use them anymore if they're painted, so I got a second set. Belt HAVE - Purchased from Wampa Wear about 2 years ago, still stands up very well Belt disc HAVE - Also from Bailey, I plan to swap it out on my buckle. Boots HAVE - KeepTrooping, I absolutely love all of my keeptrooping items, good price, good quality, relatively fast shipping. Gloves HAVE - Keeptrooping, same as said about the boots, these are actually lined with something really soft, love them! E-11b files HAVE - Already had these from GA, not sure if it's 100% accurate or not, but I've printed one before (sold) and it was a very painless process. E-11 Blaster - 3D Print Files – Galactic Armory E-10.5 files HAVE - Gotta go digging in my etsy, I purchased them way back after Andor S1 and never actually printed them haha! Link when I find it MSP5 Files + base HAVE - I used a cheap airsoft C96 base I found off ebay, and printed out the greebs from files I found on thingiverse. I scaled down the barrel significantly. I think the original is too long, and at 80% is better. However I'm a rather small person (5 7) so I scaled it down to about 60% I believe. It fits in my holster (Darman Props) very nicely. I decided to exclude the wire on my initial build since I didn't think it would fit the holster, but I plan to add the straight wire (along with painting the greeb details) shortly.
  4. This came out very fast! Might start working on this for when we can start doing CRL's (and updates) again.
  5. One more thing, I'm curious about how I'm supposed to mount the pouches to the belt. Here's what I've got. It looks like there shouldn't be a visible strap *above* the pouch. I'm pretty sure I understand how to do it (sew the flap to the pouch, then use velcro after looping it over the belt to hold it in place) but I would like some imput from a cleared Del if possible. (excuse the excessive amount of dog fur, it was accidently living on the floor for a few days) ALSO ALSO this is the BACK side, it's just a flat flap not the angled outward facing one.
  6. Small update, I didn't realize that I needed just a bit more work for the vest and some of the hard parts. Submission on hold.. probably until finals are over. We'll see
  7. Hey guys! Been awhile huh. Anyway I've received all the parts and am finished up painting and assembling everything. I hope to be able to submit tomorrow, if not Monday.
  8. Thank you! I'm debating between magnets or velcro or some other solution. I think I need to suit up and then go from there.
  9. SUBMISSION PROGRESS: APPROVED!!! Hello spec ops! After a few years of searching to get everything together, I have an almost complete Del kit. Future posts will follow up on exactly what I have and what I need. I also have an approved Iden and previously had a Hask before trading the bandolier and have since ordered a replacement. Anyway, here's what I've got so far. Helmet: Intergalactic Supply (HAVE) Balaclava: Amazon (HAVE) Flightsuit: Wampa Wear (HAVE) Compad: Wampa Wear/Philo props. (Trying to get the philo one to fit, but it's a little small.) (HAVE) Gloves: Wampa Wear (HAVE) Armor: Jinta Props (HAVE) Vest: Jim Tripon (HAVE) Mp-40 Pouches: Ebay UK (HAVE) Officer belt: Wampa Wear (HAVE) Scout belt: Intergalactic Supply (HAVE) Scout Pouches: Mon Cal (HAVE) Thermal Detonator: Intergalactic Supply (HAVE) Holster: Darman's Props (HAVE) Boots: Keep Trooping (HAVE) I plan to make individual posts further on for each item. Currently I'm struggling on how to mount the Mp-40 pouches and scout pouches. The back flap of the scout pouches isn't sewn into the rest of the pouch so I might look into that for securing it to the belt. We also have a Del in our garrison I think I can reach out to for help. If anyone here has pics of how those are mounted on their kits that would be extremely helpful.
  10. I dont know about the belt, but when I first did my Hask build, I used those specific files (and later used them for my iden) and got approved. I bought rubber shoulder straps from Mon Cal on etsy.
  11. Thank you very much. I've been working on and off on del for about a year and a half now, and the previous ammo pouches I was looking at have suddenly disappeared off etsy.
  12. Hello great people of the Spec Ops detachment. I'm an approved Iden and previously approved, now retired, Hask and I'm looking to round out the Inferno collection. I've gotten everything (or have them in the cart ready to purchase) except for the ammo pouches. I am struggling hard to find some. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  13. Just wondering if this slot in the belt is approvable. There aren't many good angles and I really don't want to finish this print and then have to redo it.
  14. Good early morning Spec Ops detachment! I've been working on a Del Meeko build to have the entire trio of Inferno, and the CRL mentions 8 rivets on the belt. I did find a different picture on the placement of those rivets, but I'm not sure where I can buy them. I was wondering if the rivets had to be functional. All my hard parts are 3d printed so I rather not have to try and poke holes in my armor. I was hoping to just be able to glue them onto the belt in the correction position. I was also curious about the "belt" portion of the over belt. How does it attach to the scout belt. My scout belt print has slots in it where as other files I've seen didn't. Thanks all!
