  1. COMPAD Compad was also an easy piece for me. I got it off of wampawear. It isn't great.. the buttons are smaller (in line with the CRL) but it is very hard to tell. Mine's also quite faded from the amount of times I've trooped as Iden/Hask. I also got a resin one from Philo, it's a bit smaller so I'm having an issue where the ends pop out of the pocket. I need to add some sort of trimming to get it to stay, just lazy lol. GLOVES Same story as before, Wampa Wear gloves. I currently wear their large but I should've gone with a medium. Ah well. Crinkled cause they're a few years old.
  2. FLIGHTSUIT This was a fairly easy find. I got mine off Wampa Wear though there are several good sellers out there. CrowProps also does good work, Jim Tripon is also a good option as well. PICS PENDING (gotta wash it)
  3. BALACLAVA Bulk standard balaclava from amazon. Set me back about $5. Not much to it lol.
  4. HELMET I purchased my helmet from Intergalactic Supply over on facebook (Jason Hill). It's pretty good but has a few issues that I was able to fix easily. The first and biggest one is the exposed screw. I was able to use some of my scrap ABS from my mimban officer to cut a relatively square piece and glue it on top. If you purchase this helmet see if he can go without that screw. Second is the pillbox, by default there is a white trim, you'll need to paint that black as well. Third isn't necessarily wrong, but the tusks aren't metal. It's just mildly annoying since the code discs on the side are. The helmet has got a good amount of space inside. I'm kind of struggling with the padding but I'll get it right eventually.
  5. Update update update! I am approved!!! Currently on vacation but when I get home I’ll photograph the different bits of my kit and create posts on them accordingly. Kind of a backwards way to do a build guide but who cares!
  6. I've got a lot of Bailey's stuff (both pre and post sale) The belt boxes are great, though the clips are super strong and have scratched my belt. I've found a work around to stop it though. For Philo's, I had his rogue one boxes in the past. They're alright, but just friction held together so I had it pop off once. The hooks were very flexible which was nice for putting them on but they slide around my belt a lot. I'd say Bailey is the best way to go here. For the belt, I also have both. I prefer Wampa. The buckle, while more inaccurate, appeals to me more. I like the smoothness which doesn't irritate me when I touch it (sensory issues essentially). Darmans is by no means bad though. I only switched because the method darman uses to connect the belt to the buckle (metal piece sticking out) cut me pretty bad on one of my troops, whereas Wampa's buckle has a rounded section for the peg that I can't hurt myself on. Note you will need a replacement code disc for Wampa's belt, as it has grooves. I got mine from Bailey.
  7. New submission photos with the updates sent in. (A formality) so hopefully I will get the all clear today!
  8. Question for ya. I was looking at the specialist requirements for this costume. I know the CRL's are currently locked and so can't be updated, but will the "Ferrix" weathering still be required now that we've seen them on Ghorman? I need to wait until I receive my uniform from Jim, but it seems his Andor army trooper meets the requirements, would that be the same for this costume as well?
  9. Definitely not me haha. I barely know how to use the modeling software.
  10. You will need to get fabric and print the buckles and rectangles for the pouches. Someone on here posted the buckle awhile ago and the rectangles I modeled myself in tinkercad in about 5 minutes. The fabric I took from a very cheap drawstring back I got with my garment bag that just happened to match the fabric used on the vest. I'd ask Jim if he could include some extra fabric to wrap around the boxes. I'd also be willing to send you the files I used for the vest fillers and whatnot.
  11. Small update, I had 4 items of feedback. 1: Pillbox should be all black. I was able to paint the small part that was not black. Just an oversight by me. 2: Shoulder pouch needs to have no white stitching and no unfinished edges. I had already done the stitching but didn't know I couldn't have unfinished edges. This has been fixed as well. 3: Need to verify vocoder is a separate piece. Took a few extra pics to show this 4: Need to verify the small round dimple on the right side of the backplate. Took a few extra pics to show this as well. Overall the fixes I needed were minor, so I should get my official approval any day now!
  12. I know they don't have the corrects shoulder bells for this costume, so I plan to get those separately.
  13. Hey guys another update here, Galactic Armory dropped these files ISB Tactical Armor - 3D Print Files – Galactic Armory today. Wanted to get your guy's thoughts on them. They look fine on my quick glance, but I don't have time to give it a complete look over. Thanks!
  14. Question for CS and those working on these updates. Would it be alright if I transferred all the applicable items to the JRS thread for Inferno updates as well? Stuff like the helmet, flightsuit, armor, etc.
  15. This is devastating! Is there any way to appeal this in the future? I wish I could see their reasoning. (same for the regular special forces too)
  16. I would say message Jason Hill on facebook (intergalactic props) as the helmet I got from his has bubble mesh lenses.
  17. This helps a lot. Was wondering what style of black the armor was. Off to home depot!
  18. I got my vest from Jim Tripon. You'll need access to a 3d printer (or know someone who does) for some extra greeblies and ask Jim for extra vest fabric to cover the boxes, but I think it should be good (my Del is currently being reviewed by my GML)
  19. E-11b Finished my build the other day, the smell has finally gone, and I would say it turned out great. Still need to paint the ejection port silver, totally blanked on that. Belt Boxes Finished these as well, I think they also turned out great!
  20. upon closer inspection I think you're right, while it does have the flashlight of newer E-11's it doesn't seem to have the other details, maybe even T-tracks instead of U-tracks. Maybe someone who has a physical set can get close ups. I'd be more than willing to build this costume physically, either when the CRL database is able to be added to/modified again or as soon as there is LMO approval (apologies if we already got this, I skimmed this quickly and it is 4am where I live)
  21. Hey just following up on this. I've fallen into the rabbit hole of special forces.. first working on my del, then finding the "generic" inferno, now these guys. I did have two questions and one statement: Questions: Is the flightsuit essentially just a standard black flightsuit then? I can't say I'm an expert between the differences aside from the red stripe and potentially the zipper cover? Assuming it is, would it be possible to allow for those with silver cogs to also be approved? My thought process is that IOC allows 4 versions - white embroidered cogs, white vinyl cogs, silver embroidered cogs, and silver vinyl cogs. In my opinion the BEST choice would be white embroidered cogs as they have the same "3D" effect as the sculpt of the fig, but for accessibility, maybe this could be an option? Statement: I'm willing to take on actually *making* this kit. I've got the base Iden and can easily order a new flightsuit with white embroidered cogs and a new helmet with no red highlights and a set of white Inferno markings (otherwise this seems like just another tie pilot, I personally believe this is the best way to go) I also happen to have a Hask bandolier and I know someone who I believe would be able to make the black pauldron shown in the artwork.
  22. If not pointed out already, the e-11's should be the newer Rogue One and onwards style. Looking forward to this becoming real, I basically have it put together, just need to make a slight modification to my belt and I'm good to go for if/when this is ready to be published.
  23. That's very reassuring! I'm hoping my GML's agree with you!
