  1. To change the skin go to the very bottom of the screen and you will see 2 boxes. One to change the skin and one to change the board language. Click the left one and choose IP Board skin for the basic skin......(which is what I use also....)
  2. Glad to have you aboard. It's customary to start an introduction thread and tell us little about yourself and which costume you would like to do. You can do that here http://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/forum/35-spec-ops-recruits-report-in/ . Also, since you're in Alaska, have you been in contact with the Alaskan Outpost? you can do that here. http://akoutpost.hoop.la/home. After we have a better idea on what you're looking to do, we'll have a better idea on where to send you for armor.
  3. Looks really good Tori. The mylar on the detonator is ok for base approval currently, but will most likely not be in the future. You might want to remove that at some point. (I still have mine I need to take off.... ) Other than that I don't see anything not passable.
  4. That kit looks like it'd be fun to put together. I need to get myself one of those.
  5. I've become pretty good friends with a few of your neighbors over the past couple years. If you need any local help, let me know and I'll see if there's anyone near that can get a hold of. Although, those guys are members here also, so they could always step up and help a brother out!
  6. pretty ambitious under taking...good luck!
  7. Looking over that figure really good....I'd say that with the amount and the way the under armour wrinkles...It's probably supposed to be leather. Fabric doesn't wrinkle like what's shown. The belt and hanging boxes are also much different than a regular Shadow Scout. The thermal detonator is longer than the normal scout version. Only problem is that as extremely well detailed as this is...it doesn't show the bottom half to complete this artist's version.
  8. Clone arms look fine and you might take a look at the animated clone abdomen pieces for the abs.
  9. Right now weathering isn't a part of our CRL's. That doesn't mean that you can't do it. It just means that as of right now it's not 501st acceptable. We are in talks about it though and it may be acceptable in the near future depending on input from the LMO's.
  10. We did have one until very recently.......
  11. Might be the first time I've seen an E-11 being used with the folding stock out.
  12. MonCal or SC are my recommendations.
  13. Glad there's lot's of proof so I don't have to make her prove that it's not off a 12" figure or anything.
  14. The regular scouts have sniper rifles in the game Battlefront. I don't see why a Shadow Scout wouldn't be extended the same weaponry, especially since the Shadow Scout is the elite version of the regular scout. You both still have the title "Scout" so long range weaponry would still be a part of you repertoire.
  15. Can we get a pic of the finished back of the bucket?
  16. Awesome! Keep us updated.
  17. Cool, another Magma in the detachment....I have a feeling there's going to be a few more soon.
  18. Oh wow bro....you can start to see that this is going to rock! I so can't wait to see it finished.
  19. I'm going to a blaster workshop this weekend. I'm doing an E-11 kit. Could be the guys house I'm going to. He isn't a member but makes tons of blasters and they're excellent quality. I'll post more after Saturday.
