I also took the wireless mic and made a foam piece to go on the mic pickup. I took the foam piece off the mic that came with it and slid mine onto it. It's not 100% but it reduced the feedback now to a point where I can have the volume loud enough for people to hear me.

I took my Aker and put a thin rubber foam all around it except for the front that velcros to the armor. I got the foam from Grainger and it helped reduce the feedback a little more.

I have the Aker MR2800 and I mounted it in my chest and when I turned the sound on so you could hear me talk it would squeal pretty loud. I had to adjust the output to the wireless mic and the volume to the Aker but I still had the feedback at a volume you could hear me. I Took and moved the Aker down to my stomach inside my armor and that helped a little.

In the pic above you can see it fits perfectly between the two exterior sound system mic board boxes shown by the red arrow. Also you can see the fans in there cages installed above the sound board boxes, marked with the pink arrows.

​I mounted the wireless transmitter in the rear of the bucket It fits nicely. I will say at this point I have pretty much exhausted all the real-estate inside my bucket I still have some room in the front where I will eventually mount dime sized mini fans to draw air into the bucket, Im looking into several mounting positions there. But it's a good thing I have a smaller head or I'd never get this technical monster over it!!

I put my wireless mic system in the bucket and when I turned it on I got a terrible squeal through my outside environmental sound system. so I took a copper wire and stripped it bare and twisted it all the way down the wire, I then took it and twisted it around the mic boom. Once it awhile i'll get a little squeal but I just adjust the mic inside the bucket and it's fine.

Wow I didn't realize how long it's been, The wireless system is working well but because of the close proximity of the mic to the speaker there was a considerable amount of feedback at a volume you could hear me, so I needed to rework my system to try and reduce the noise. On a updated note I got my trooper voice board it is very cool with all it's features but it's challenging to learn how it all works.

The next step in my up grade is the wireless mic. That was a challenge!! More to come in our next exciting adventure!!

The fans fit right in behind those vents and pull air out of the bucket just like they were meant to do.

The lines are not perfect, this serves two purposes, the hand painted vents are NOT perfect and the movie accurate traps are NOT perfect either.

It came out looking something like this.

I then took my Dremel with a plastic cutting wheel and very very carefully cut the pencil lines I just drew.

I first took a ruler and pencil and drew vertical lines on the traps.

I used the rear traps, they put fake vent decals on so I figured why not make them functional, so I did.

Now, you may be wondering where I'm putting these fans, well I went out on the edge and cut into my bucket and I have had several comments saying " Why hasn't anyone done this before?" Well I don't know if anyone has done this before but it sounded like a good idea.

Now that we have one done we just copy what we just did for the other fan.
