  1. Upgraded drop boxes. Why did I upgrade them, they already were full closed drop boxes. Cause I can lol!! I had tossed around the idea of making them as storage compartments but just kind of let it go. Then a good buddy of mine showed me his that he made as storage compartments, I was sold!!!
  2. I took velcro and attached the one side to the back of the Mp3 player then the other piece to the Aker. Then I stuck the Mp3 to the Aker, it's the perfect size!
  3. A couple of buddies of mine directed me to the 501st's web page, they have loops you can download for free of trooper radio chatter. They have a few you can download, they are really cool and some are funny! I downloaded them to my computer and I didn't even have to put them into iTunes, I dragged and dropped them to the Mp3 no problem! I've used it for a couple troops and it is great! The people love it!!
  4. It's the perfect size and cheap!!!! I hooked it up to my iMac and everything synced flawlessly! Warning DO NOT DELETE THE FILES THAT COME ON THIS DEVICE!!!! I found out the hard way! If you delete the files on this device the computer won't recognize it and will render it useless. I ended up taking it back and getting a new one. I thought if I saved them on the computer that would work then delete them off the Mp3 player to save space; NOPE!! So if you get one of these they work great for what I want to use it for but don't delete anything off of it.
  5. I wanted background sound to play while I was trooping and I didn't want to spend too much money, so I went to Walmart and found a 4BG Mp3 player for $14.
  6. Today I will show you the upgrades I made to my drop boxes and the mini Mp3 player I bought for backround sound for my Aker.
  7. Well that brings us to the end of yet another fun and exciting day!!!! Lots more to come!!! Stay tuned we'll have a armor storage box upgrade and drop box upgrades coming and a really big surprise!!
  8. I then attached the clips over the wires where I want them to go.
  9. I took and cut little pieces of that rubber foam I used to sound proof the Aker and glued it inside the ridge part of the clips to hold the wire firmly but allow for movement. I then took velcro and attached it to the ends of the clips. I took and placed the other side of the velcro on the armor.
  10. I made plastic clips to hold the wires in place.
  11. I have a push to talk wire that I run from the voice changer down my arm to my hand. I also run a wire from the voice changer to my Aker in the front of my armor.
  12. I put the wireless receiver in the back of my armor plate. I also have a Hyperdyne labs voice changer wired into the receiver and an on / off switch that controls the power to the system.
