  3. Great news so for Torolf when you have the updated pics please share them here sp we can provide feedback for you and get stuff going for approval. This is very exciting especially when there is the possibility of being the very first in the legion for approval in a new costume.
  4. So i take it this would be getting its own CRL than? Cool had no idea about the battlefront version. No worries folks will help out best we can. I'll try to start crl stuff soon
  5. So some new developments on placement for this costume. We will keep you updated but looks like this one might be going to another detachment so be prepared to move your work in progress stuff if need be. Thanks for all the work and help.
  6. I figured I would separate and post the 3 separate Reference Pics for each so it wont be so confusing. I put placeholders and will add the photos later this afternoon. Imperial Super Commando
  7. Ah I see interesting well then disregard the color items i mentioned. The only thing that you need to fix are the holster part that I had mentioned otherwise it looks like you have it. I will post some more reference photos in one post so people are clear because I had no idea as I do not watch the rebel tv show. Good news for us that just means more costumes to add for Spec Ops. Thanks for letting me know and good job. I hope we can get some more feedback so we can start the process of submitting it to the 501st CRL databank. There is one thing I did notice but I am unsure of how much of an issue it will be the top chest piece the semi circle you have its a bit bigger than what is shown in the reference photos so i would like some input on that from others. I will relook again when i get home as I am going off of memory since I cant view photos currently. For the blasters is there a correct name for them? I see there is the larger one that you have and a smaller version that looks like a westar 35 but is slightly different.
  8. Alright so I finally got a chance to look. I must say it is looking good. Couple of things: The top chest piece totally threw me off because the paint is missing but it looks fine actually. The holsters look great in the front but are missing showing in the back just a bit more if you look here below you can see what I am talking about: Obvious stuff the color red is missing from the armor pieces, helmet, gauntlets, and jet pack and the boots. The top under suit thing is brown The bottom pants thing I'm not sure its looks grey in some of the reference pics and white in others so i guess more input would be needed on that. Blaster color needs to be added. Other than that I dont see anything else and would like others input just in case i miss anything. You did a really good job getting the details correct.
  9. Thanks for posting I currently cant view any of the photos but I will take a look when I get home
  10. Some sad news so right now this costume wont be a 501st approved costume. I hope in the future it will be but there just are no reference materials so cant do much about that. Again this may change a year or two down the road. "No, unfortunately the black version of the Legacy FemTK will not be 501st approved. There is no licensed reference to support that. The future at this time does not look to be moving that way with the new brand that Star Wars is heading towards. I have only seen a fan repaint the statue and it looks amazing but it was not a license with black armor" That Quote is from the maker Kevin Weir
  11. Question: Imperial Death Trooper Specialist is just another variant and has no relation to the specialist program correct? Also are we going to have any criteria for the specialist program for the death troopers? Thanks
  12. Thanks I will definitely look into this it looks like a good option.Right now just waiting on Ty to finish up the add on pieces and some money to purchase a TK kit to use the parts from. I have someone local just waiting for enough money. So this is still a project that is underway. Thanks again for the tips i appreciate it.
  13. CRL has been drafted up just needs to be looked over so that will be on top of the list since it seems you are just about finished. Dont forget to post up some pics in here as well so we can see!!! I am looking forward to this and we will keep ya updated about the CRL. BTW if everything is on the up and up with your costume would you mind providing individual pics of your armor pieces as well as a full front and back which most likely will end up on the completed and final CRL. Thank you very much
  14. Congrats on your approval. Love that shiny black looking sharp
  15. Welcome glad to see you on board! Just as an fyi you will have to take the steps for polishing. Granted the armor is shiny and as far as I know no one pulls in super super high gloss. Steve suggested getting it custom painted at a body shop for a higher gloss look, which is what one member did here at TBS with his Tie pilot.. As far as armor waits that is something you have to get used to as it takes time for the vendors to fill orders and pull the kits. So being patient is also part of the process. So while you are waiting I would suggest take the time to look at other peoples shadow storm trooper builds in the forum, gather tools and materials, shop for your boots, gloves, neck seal, under armor and bin. Basically do research so you are prepared when you get your armor. Let us know if you have other questions. I am happy you have joined the best detachment in the world and look forward to seeing your build.
  16. Still attempting to get a hold of you about this costume.
  17. Well its been like 2 years any thoughts on this or have you moved on?
  18. Awesome that seems like a perfect item for that. Hmm so I have a couple of circle pieces that require the lighting as well would that be appropriate for the EL tap or should go with something else for those? I am not wondering for the arm pieces go with the LED but do they have like a more flat LED lights for that? I mostly see the beaded ones which wont work.
  19. I kind of found a pic it seems its the same one i came across so we definitely need a clear view. One thing I was wondering for just the ground types do they also get one of those super cute I-9 droids or is just the one lady?
  20. Hello I got a chance to scroll through your build thread and have seen your work on this costume very impressive. Are you continuing to work on this costume? We are in the process of working on the CRL soon. Thanks
