The needed mods for the undersuit are pretty straightforward (unless you plan to do the panels, those are tougher). I did mine and I don't have great sewing skills. However I do have good hiding skills, to coverup all my mess-ups
I hope what the gml is saying is he is taking them in order. I can tell you it took two months for my first approval, but gor various easons the person wasnt able to keep up and soon left the role. I wouldnt expext you to be waiting more than a few weeks.
Ya, the fact that it is a nova shouldnt really make it take longer. I would do what Toddo suggested and send a message to your gml. Sometimes they get backed up and the process is slower, but 5 weeks is a long time.
The expectstion is it will be fully approvable, but we can't say 100% until we see it. If it makes you feel any better, I bought a white kit from Anovas.
I think I spent more time on my TX ears than anything else. Trimming, boiling, shaping, retrimming, reboiling, reshaping. I was being super anal about not having a gap. Definitely a time I would not look forward to repeating, lol.
I love your attention to detail. Going back to snaps, ive never had good luck with snap tools and always go the manual hammer way which works just as well. Jim's suggestion about using pocket material for the required collar cover is exactly what I did with my redkap. Worked like a charm.
