Not sure where you live, but with the temp dropping in the states, its easier to find boots in your local shop or at the mall. Might cost you more, but you could get a quality pair. Just make sure they are high enough on the ankle and don't have adornment. Check the CRL for specific requirements. I got my current trooping boots at Rack Room Shoes.

Magnets are awesome to use in costuming. Reminds me I need to order some...

Ok, got it. I was just curious. I imagine it would be difficult to find existing 3D models of a lot of things we are interested in doing. Have you been working with a TK Bucket 3D model that you modified for your stuff?

I have played with google sketchups, but not done that much in there. So, you created that deathstar in Sketchups? How long did it take you? Difficulty?
