  1. How did you make the piece of CD? Looks like you need some wires and you will be all set
  2. Looks like your forearm gap is a bit much (I am sure what you were concerned about). I would trim the down a bit, then install a piece of foam on the inside which help keep them in place on your forearm.
  3. It should sit just above the knee cap. I would say if its covering your knee cap, it is too high.
  4. Jonathon and Terry, can you possible link to the cases you are talking about? Thanks!
  5. It never ends! I am really taking most of my armor apart. A lot of pieces I am fully closing on one side while having temporary closures on the other side. Need to re-do my suspender system. Need to trim my upper back armor. Lots to do enhance.
  6. Or, I use imageshack. Just google it. Imageshack will let you upload without an account, though they will pull the image down eventually.
  7. Absolutely! I think I can do a lot of the body armor out of a regular TX kit, but the bucket, I don't even know how I will fit my head in it.
  8. I am assuming this is the stanley box everyone uses: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202300294/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=stanley+job+box&storeId=10051
  9. The wires really add to the look. They can be fun to attach though
  10. Just saw this. Nicely done man!
  11. Oh, also ripped the fan back out, the blade was catching on something so I need to reseat it. I need to get some more E-6000, I am running low.
  12. And I am afraid I am slowly but surely going to get to that point. I keep trying to remove what I feel on my noggin are the trouble spots, but soon there may be nothing left, lol
  13. The other thing I can't tell is if you added the wiring, hard to see, might just be in the dark spot of the photo.
  14. 100% agree with that statement, there is always more you can do if you want. Heck, I am just now getting to things that weren't urgent, but will be much nicer.
  15. Ways to store your armor: Stanley Case - These are used by many troopers. They are sturdy, have a built-in latch-lock while also having two other spots for common padlocks. Troopers can often fit two sets of armor in these depending on the kit. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202300294/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=stanley+job+box&storeId=10051 $70 Estimated Cost Wal-mart Foot Locker - Smaller than the Stanley case and not as heavy duty, but much more cost effective. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-92-Qt-Footlocker-Set-of-2/16415911 $39 (set of 2) Travel Golf Bag Base - Sturdy case with more mobility. Its skinny nature makes it easier to fit in places (Can stand-up), but it is also longer than most other storage options. It's main benefit is better portability and cheaper to travel with on a plane. http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11367803&cp=&sr=1&kw=golf+case&origkw=golf+case&parentPage=search $119
  16. You have no arms?! Sorry, couldn't resist, terrible joke
  17. lol, I did a bucket so many times I just bought a finished one
  18. Welcome ot the forum, let us know if you havent gotten what you need.
  19. Shims are looking great. I know how you feel. I did my whole kit with only online help. Could be why I am reworking a lot of things now . Once you go the armor party and can take your peices out and compare them to actual completed armor, it really makes it come all together
  20. Okay, I need to enlist you for my Jedi Knight Shadow Trooper bucket...
