Hello fellow troopers,
Due to a complete lack of follow-through Baron will no longer be allowed to sell on these forums. There should be a new thread popping up soon where some ANH Stunt Blackhole buckets will be available.
The Staff
You could buy it and have it shipped to a fellow trooper in the US (I would be willing to do this). Then you can just Paypal me the shipping to forward it on to you.
Well, the first place to start is by getting an armor kit. Send me a PM and I can get you some contacts. Also, read through the build threads in the forum here. That will give you an idea of whats involved and the process other scouts went through.
Agree, neckseal does look TK style.
Most of the references have some form of thigh, though I think your best bet is something simplified:
You can also see it here:
I also notice forearm armor in most of the images. I think you need to decide what references you are going to try and build off of.
The cut is a bit off too since the cammondos knee, while part of the shin, is much more Like a scouts. Might be able to comibine a BH shin with a scout knee, and tyen just bondo on top to create the ridges. It would requirecpaintng afterwards
That is so great! Can't wait to see the official pics, but the whole thing looks unbelievable. Thoroughly impressed my brother. Great work. I really need to get on that star killer.
Never heard of the group, but thanks for sharing the picks. That chicken one is hilarious. Looks like they also have a Shadow Scout in there (picture below). I am wondering where you get your kits? Curious to see if its the same sources or if there are some other kits out there we are not aware of. Send me a PM if you are interested in sharing.
Awesome man! I will definitely take advantage of your help. Ill need to visualize what you are talking about. Since the wife has a Juno, I really need to get my Starkiller together.
Just awesome Art! I love the hinge on the bracers. I am going to have to make a trip your way for some metal projects . What thickness is the sheet metal you used? I am determined to do a starkiller and was going to make the shoulders out of fiberglass, but i am wondering if I can make them out of two peices of metal and then weld them together.
E-6000 is amazing stuff (which reminds me, I need to order more off of Amazon). I'm just afraid you will have some residue to deal with from the electrical tape, but if that's all ya got. I always use painters tape.
