  1. Ur good. Not derailing. Just pointing out. Thats the process. Essentially its more like a ROTJ belt. No button covers. On that CRL thats listed as an L2 requirement as are the angled corners. I would take this to mean that they are not necessary for Level 1 approval. We can do similar.
  2. All great points. At which point we decide on what is Level 1 worthy vs. Level 2 (here we dont do Level 3). The side rivets for example are already listed as Level 2. Belt width would prob be an additional one in my opinion. Center button? That one could go either way.
  3. @Spiel For easier identification, I modified your post title to add “Sith Trooper” to it. And welcome @gmrhodes13 Glad to have u over here.
  4. Yea based on the build components it seems as if this one would go the way of the Shoretrooper. Your still more than welcome to do a WIP here if ud like as well. If they decide or tell you they dont want it, let us know.
  5. No worries Denis! Even in these shots I have there is no back view which we need....hopefully we can see some trailer footage or that sdcc display (fingers crossed) that shows everything we need.
  6. Yea as a pure skeleton base probably...but just based off this fig alone there is a tremendous amount that is different.
  7. @Spiel I was sent these pics today from The Star Wars Show. Its not enough to launch a CRL (need more than a figure), but if you would like to begin drafting a CRL proposal skeleton, this looks like enough to at least start thinking about it. y
  8. Hey Muddies...as we prep to update the Mud CRL (just waiting for a few pics), Id like to go ahead and add a full body model of the medic variant as a tabbed version to the CRL as well. If you have a high quality medic build completed that you would like reviewed to be the medic CRL model (or know someone who does), please PM asap. Thanks!
  9. @14166 I've had a chance now being back to really look at pics along w/ the editor. I'm going to send you a PM.
  10. Awesome!!! Are you allowed to share what films u worked on? Sounds fun!!!
  11. Im back!!! @IcyTrooper sent me some pics to review. He will finish compiling them w u @14166 and the editors. I plan to really catch up on things tomorrow.
  12. @Blackwatch @14166 While I'm out of town if you're able to settle on a final pack description and review that the entire CRL looks good and matches references. @IcyTrooper will take care of getting the editors on the pics and compiling them into a folder/link for me so they're ready for publishing and will update the reference pictures thread (I've uploaded all the pics but something glitched and undid my placing/sorting of them within the thread).
  13. Sounds good. Out of curiosity, have you approached Pathfinders at all as well?
  14. Just an FYI. I am leaving town Friday till July 6. I have requested a few pics from @rickyboyblue to go w this update. If I have those along w the final edit of the text, this can be published when I return.
  15. Got it. And as a heads up, I will be on vacation for a bit and wont be able to really get this setup for publishing until after the first week of July. Since he has been here helping w it maybe I can delegate getting the photos edited and organized to @IcyTrooper if he is up to it
  16. @14166 gotcha. Well if it isnt doable that is what it is. Maybe down the line you can do the other version hint hint hint lol. Or another trooper can step up n do it.
  17. The proportions on that pack look so much better. You can really see it from the side shots. EXCELLENT!!! @CrookKnight Thanks for working with @14166 on getting that right. Can you send me all the links to download the final pics (everything) we can use for the CRL? I want to see the entirety of what we have, what extra shots we may need, etc and get them edited. And so yea...would a no box version be doable for you or no?
  18. @Blackwatch This is edited on the original post? Also...I created a reference thread for the our pictures. There are more to add once I get them downloaded. The threads were also moved into their own Rocket Trooper section as we prep to move this out of the Research area. Uploading the pics...I noticed that we have references for no chest box. Optional item? @14166 would you be able to take pics of both types of troopers w/ and without chest?
  19. Fronts: No Chest Box: Helmet & Shoulder Straps: Chest Box: Backpack & Back Plate: Biceps, Shoulders & Forearms: Hands: Ab, Buttons, Belt & Drop Boxes: Thighs, Shins & Boots: Thermal Detonator:
  20. @Blue Hatter The initial thing that jumps out to me is the use of rivets on the shin and forearm cover strips. I don't see those on the reference pics.
  21. Excellent. I'm going to download those reference pictures and create a specific thread for them. Thanks!!!
  22. Congratulations @Ensi!!! Looks great! Let me know when the WIP thread is fully complete and I will pin alongside Ricky's and Jasper's.
