I'd recommend that we start a separate thread for that if we are developing another CRL with text. This thread is to bolster feedback for possible detachment creation and ideas related to it

I will absolutely echo here that we will poll our detachment members on any transitions and thoughts about a separate detachment. Without our fantastic members who have cultivated the growth and development of these characters, they would not have otherwise existed. I'm in no way opposed to a separate detachment, but it must be well thought out and developed with member input at every turn. With that being said, I'm going to remain a strong voice to keep IA discussions as they relate to the IA trooper, IA engineer, IA sapper and Lt Sunber developments under the Spec Ops detachment where they currently reside.

I second @Blackwatch on this, it'll need to be dyed rather than painted.

Ty, it was noticed that this ammo pouch on the shin armor had a very long piece out of the back that we can't place on reference/game images. Not sure if it came undone? See below:

I'm guessing these images were pulled from the textures in game and then re-rendered? Interested to see where these pics came from.

Disregard, @Fivezero! I went through it all and verified we are good. I'm locking this currently so that we can halt further alterations as it goes to the LMOs.

What did you change? I have to go back into the wiki to make the adjustments there as well, unless it wasn't on stuff that was already green?

I will be doing a run down and final check on text in a few hours and then we should hopefully have it off to LMOs.

@Fivezero thanks! @nanotek just did some updates to the CRL wiki, which ultimately will be reviewed by the LMO, to take over from what I currently did. I know that we are going to cross reference what we have pushed to the wiki and then update the first page of this thread. We are close!

Let's also continue to scour the internet for what other official references we may have. We cannot have "too many" but we can definitely have "not enough".

I'd be more in light to allow latitude for L1 and pin down accuracy for L2, in which we'd have jurisdiction over it and know what is good. When we get to the part where we start finalizing text to update make sure to copy the entire section from the CRL that is being changed and use different color to show what is added/modified/removed, etc.

I have updated the Helmet Hose section to have to correction about red strip weathering. I have updated the Shoulder Armor as per Mark's feedback. I have also updated the Biceps text to shorten it and remove L2 requirement.

Just pumping this stuff out! I love Nomex flight gloves by the way.

I'll echo what has been said because I've faced burn-out with costume creation. Take a nice break and come back to it with fresh ideas and you're brain and body will love you for it!!

Agreed with what @Blackwatch said. If you are going to get a ANH TK pulled in black just be sure to compare all details to that of the CRL to verify prior to committing on anything. I hate seeing people lose money because they didn't ask good questions. Best of luck!

Very nice! I will update the text at that start so that I can port it over to the wiki. I had an FAA inspection come up that takes place tomorrow (probably as result of us getting acquired) so that pushed me back a few days. I'll make a strong push starting tomorrow evening to get this rolling into the main CRL.

I'll jump in on this when I have a free moment (from training in TX). Just keep in mind, any adjustments that we make need to be reflected on the first page of this with the text that we are pushing to the CRL WIP on the Legion server. I'd HIGHLY recommend that we do parts one at a time, please. In the immediate, yes there should be mention about weathering and it should be noted in the start of the CRL and state that all parts are consistently weathered unless specified otherwise.

@Fivezero if you get any free time do you think you could get some side angle shots of the jetpack on this one and put them in the drive? Trying to get all angles for the alternate views gallery on the CRL (this won't hold up the CRL though since we can always edit the gallery).

Gaskets definitely look darker (and better) on the Celebration stand.
