Possibly, though I'd advise against it. -iz

Congrats! -iz

Yep you need to make the cut so the belt covers it. That's how I separated mine. -iz

No, you have to be wearing the neck seal during the approval pics. You might want to think about making a temp one if you or some one you know can sew. They're pretty easy. Just send those photos and a bucket off pic to your local GML and they'll make sure the pics get in the right places. If you don't know your local garrison you can look them up here: http://www.501st.com/members/displayUnits.php And be sure to fill out an application here so the GML can approve you as soon as he's given the okay: http://www.501st.com/members/join_how.php -iz

Looks like it's ready for approval review. -iz

Those are pretty close, I think the middle is best. -iz

I didn't have any problems with my Cushman DLT-19. Looks great in pics and is Durable. It probably took about 8-10 weeks to get, but that was expected. (With the exception of CAP-W 8-10 weeks is a standard time) It's lasted for all my troops so I've been perfectly happy with it. -iz

An MG-42 is a rebellion era blaster. so I'm sure it could slide by.

I'm very interested in seeing how this turns out. Keep us updated. -iz

Blackhole / Shadow Stormtrooper Reference Pics Discussion
izzi replied to izzi's topic in Shadow Stormtrooper
Yeah, that's been in my plans as well. I had posted that pic up on the original boards when the set was first announced. It would be a custom job, and I doubt there would be enough for 501st approval, as it differs greatly from other officer armors. -iz -
No you wouldn't HAVE to have the mortar tube, but who doesn't want one! I'd find out from scootch what size tube the CAP-W stuff fits, he may be able to help you out. Also if you decide you do want a tube and need the dish, I have a resin cast of the radar dish that I could toss your way. -iz

The Refridgerator Trooper... Bringing 6-packs to a battle near you! Just another reason to join the Empire! -iz

No one is saying you can't just paint a suit red. There is at least one painted suit out there that I know of, and it still looks good. THe ABS ones are just easier to keep up. -iz
-
It'll definitely look better than mine when it's done. -iz
-
Red ABS is a special order kind of thing here in the states, so it's pretty pricey. I have a feeling the reason why a second run never occurred was because of the amount of cash invested vs. the demand. -iz

If you have 360 degree hi res shots for the LMO to review with your submission, there's always a chance! -iz

Hmm.... Can I get to Ohio... I have so many armors waiting for progress. -iz

BAh! Everyone is moving so much faster than I am! I think I'm setting a bad example and should be fired. Good work though! I think troopers generally use weather stripping to keep thing from sliding around... I've always just trimmed to fit a bit tighter so I don't worry about it. -iz

Oooh.... Glossy....

Swamp Troopers (Jedi Knight II) Reference Pics
izzi replied to izzi's topic in Swamp Troopers (Jedi Knight II)
You and your screen shots.... -iz -
THe best thing to have along with the 360 pics is an in-game shot that shows the name above the unit. You'll notice with the Novatrooper medic I included pictures with it targeted and you can see the name above it's head. -iz

Swamp Troopers (Jedi Knight II) Reference Pics
izzi replied to izzi's topic in Swamp Troopers (Jedi Knight II)
A garrison member provided me with shots of the swamp trooper all around. We can tackle this, if someone wants to. I know the current LMO is a full supporter of this one. -iz
