  1. I read through that entire build thread. I would love to see one created! Maybe you could try making a different costume first, to get a handle on crafting, and then use those skills for this? Keep in mind, everybody here is more than willing to help with any questions about it you might have. - Master Tej -
  2. There is something very attractive about that Nova! - Master Tej -
  3. I've never seen those guys. Also, their website says that armor parts are not available to the US, for whatever reason. Might not be the best choice, as you'd have to get a go-between person in another country to ship them to you. - Master Tej -
  4. The decorative stitching on the front could definitely bar them from being accepted. All the links in the posts above have approvable ones, you should try those. - Master Tej -
  5. For the pauldron, I've never actually heard of anyone making one. I would recommend this site to buy a pauldron, but if you hunt around, maybe you'll find a tutorial! Who knows? www.shoulderpauldrons.com As for the neckseal, it comes down to a question of price. If price is not an inhibitor, then you might want to buy a neckseal for good quality. Yet again, I can't find the site I want! If you're on more of a budget, then you could definetely make one yourself. Here's a great FISD tutorial (once again Pandatrooper, surprise surprise!) for making a neckseal. Sorry about not having website locations! http://www.whitearmo...ial#entry106595 - Master Tej -
  6. Yeah, I was pretty confused about that. I did find this really nice tutorial on FISD, it helped me understand it. Pandatrooper rocks! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/13288-howto-assemble-arm-armor/ - Master Tej -
  7. Well, the way you said "Question!" reminded me of Dwight! Anyways, the arm pieces are supposed to be like that. If you look at the biceps, you will notice that they are also asymmetrical. In the original movies, the arm pieces were not the same, and so these are made to be like those/even cast from an original suit. Althought it might take a little jiggling around, the wider piece should go with the other wider piece, the thinner piece with the other thinner piece. Hope that helps! - Master Tej -
  8. LOL, you sound like Dwight Schrute. That's a good question though, from what I know ABS cement, to put it crudely, melts the plastic, but I'm not certain on that, and I don't know if it would work on HIPS. - Master Tej -
  9. Congratulations! It was fun to watch this build! - Master Tej -
  10. Hm, first time it's ever been described as a smile! Imagine a Stormtrooper with a smile, as opposed to frown, like, in the background of one of the new ones! That would be priceless! - Master Tej -
  11. Nice turnaround time! Best of luck on the build! - Master Tej -
  12. Um, the stuff you posted from the CRL is in black font, Todd! Here's what I think you wanted to post: "The tube stripes are black in color and may number between 9 and 15 per side with the curve bends extending backwards. These may be hand painted or decals. There does not need to be the same number per side." - Master Tej -
  13. I agree. They seem like they would make perfect sense here. - Master Tej -
  14. Nice! That looks like it would be a lot of fun to put together! - Master Tej -
  15. Alright, that's really awesome to have your own contingency! - Master Tej -
  16. Congratulations to you on the conversion! I'll have to watch out for that pauldron problem when I do mine. - Master Tej -
  17. But Arakyel is stunt too. Maybe he'll do hero if you request it. - Master Tej -
  18. Worst-case you could always buy a hero helmet in white and paint it black . . . there would probably be a color/shine difference between it and your armor, but if you despise the stunt look that much, then that could end up being your best choice. - Master Tej -
  19. Congrats on the buy! However, ATA doesn't do hero helmets, to my knowledge. The one I have from him is stunt. - Master Tej -
  20. I don't even need to build these and I enjoyed the tutorial! - Master Tej -
  21. Congratulations! Good luck on your build! - Master Tej -
  22. Congratulations! It was fun to watch this conversion progress. - Master Tej -
