  1. Nice pics! How close to completion is the pack? - Master Tej -
  2. Too many projects eh? Well, I'm sure you and Fivezero can have a lovely discussion later. - Master Tej -
  3. How exciting! Looking forward to it! - Master Tej -
  4. If I'm not mistaken, it doesn't matter for specialist if the helmet is hero or stunt, although I do believe most around here have the stunt look. However, * Belt must be made of a glossy material to closely match the shine of the armor. It would be nice if you could post some pics of the canvas belt you have before you do any attaching of the actual plastic belt face, and the staff can tell you whether or not it will be acceptable. - Master Tej -
  5. Wow, that ATA stuff looks like it was bashed by little furry creatures on a forest moon, or something. Could it be possible to straighten some of those out? - Master Tej -
  6. Nice looking helmet, love how clean the lines are (again)! What tape do you use? As for a clear coat, although it will provide protection, it may dull the shine of your gold/black. It might be a good idea to test it on scrap pieces of plain black ABS and gold painted ABS to see how it looks and aid in your decision. - Master Tej -
  7. Wait, wait, I get it now! I admit, I did think that was a rather odd idea, attaching the backpack to the backplate. - Master Tej -
  8. Hey, it's all good, man! This is what I was referring to - - Master Tej -
  9. Well, aside from the little things they all said, it looks great! Especially the clean paint lines. - Master Tej - EDIT: I'd recommend against fixing the backpack to the back plate. Not only does that mean that a lot of weight will throw off whatever set up you're using for attachment of the plates, but it also means that you can't leave the backpack behind for unofficial troops, in the event that you wanted to do such a thing.
  10. Well, no, but you should keep them for non-canon troops! - Master Tej -
  11. Start with something small and easy, like biceps. If you aren't sure how, just find a tutorial, either here or on FISD, or ask, ask, ask. I can tell you that everyone here is eager to answer. - Master Tej -
  12. Alright, that's what I thought, but I wasn't sure (you don't even know how embarrassed I was asking that). On the 16th of March it will have been 6 months of a wait for my ATA set. Isn't that a little large for a wait? - Master Tej -
  13. I'll be sure to keep that reference in mind when I (eventually) get my armor. And I'd absolutely love to see that exhibition! - Master Tej -
  14. Where and for what should I use snaps? What about rivets? What's the biggest difference between the two? - Master Tej -
  15. *Facepalm*. I do that kind of thing all the time. I'm not the best at them there jokes sometimes. *Sigh*. Hope your cough gets better though! - Master Tej -
  16. 255?!!! I am honestly in awe. That's amazing! - Master Tej -
  17. Rimshot. Please note I said that as dryly as I possibly could. - Master Tej -
  18. The belt looks like a Clone Belt with a special piece of fabric underneath the belt boxes. And are you doing the kama-like thing included? Wait, that makes me think . . . I bet I know what the twist is! - Master Tej -
  19. He's been focusing on expanding his ego recently. It's tough work. - Master Tej -
  20. Do you know if you're going to be using the correct boots? - Master Tej -
  21. What they've all said. Lots and lots of pics. Looking forward to seeing your build! - Master Tej -
  22. Hmm, that page is interesting. What it labeles as just a "Novatrooper", is a Shadow Stormtrooper with an orange pauldron, correct? Plus, its Storm Commando is a Shadow Scout, not the Storm Commando with different armor that other references have. Tacking onto my earlier idle speculation, perhaps the lowest ranking Novas simply wore Shadow Stormtrooper armor with an orange pauldron? Either way, wouldn't TL-017 be a fairly easily approved costume? Of course, no new costume is ever easily approved, but there are more than 3 references, and included are shots from the front, back, and both sides. If perhaps a game developer, or someone originally connected to SWG, could 100% confirm that TL-017 was created for the game, then what other hurdles would there be to getting him as an approved costume? (minus, of course, the time and money of whichever trooper makes the armor in the first place, and the approval process). - Master Tej -
