DUDE!!!!! we totally need more pics than that! Looks great!!
we need pics from all sides and details along with all your reference photos.... That's killer, Hopefully we can get this added to the roster first pass!
(if those are already submitted to your gml, then we should see them on the Legion boards)
From what I can tell it looks ok. The light is keeping me from being able to see the nose details. Try to get clear pics when you take your submissions pics and get all sides and a bucket off. You might also take one of the top of the tank.
Any approved scouts here see anything?
You might want to put some more tint on the back of the lenses. They can be see thru in certain types of light. You'll also want to add in some fans. Other than that it's a great bucket. Been trooping mine for over a year now.
Stick with the Chem gloves if you're planning on applying for Specialist. I'd take the others advice and get some nomex flight gloves for regular trooping though.
You'll need something more like tire shine. As far as connecting them, you'll probably want to try velcro first. I could see the rivets pulling through the rubber.
Welcome back Chris. Your account no longer exist because none of the old accounts were ported when we changed sites. Glad to have you back though and look forward to seeing your build progress.
Wow, nice find!! Color me extremely jealous!
As for your boots, izzi has painted some that did well. You might PM him about what process and colors were used. CAboots also has red boots available now, but they are pretty expensive.
Wow, that was quick. Everything looks good except for the boots. Could you take some close up pics?
Here's the current boot CRL
* BOOTS: Must be Glossy Black "Chelsea-style" Boot. These boots are an ankle high, lace-less boot that have an elastic u-shaped gore on the sides and up to a 1†heel. They should be made of leather or vinyl and must closely match the TK standard. No ornamental stitching is allowed.
Looks good. Only thing is that you can kinda see your face through the screen. You might want to add more layers to make that a little less see through.
