I did not cut mine, but remember that the cut cannot be visisble. So I assume that means the belt would have to hide it. So pretty high. But again, that's just an educated guess.

Well I just got the word, I have been approved by my GML and the LMO!! I should have my TX number in a few days! Woot, 3rd Elite Nova in the US, 4th in the world!! Thanks to Izzi for all the help and of course for pioneering the approval of this costume!

Hey guys, I need some suggestions for the mortar tube and radar dish that is attached to it. I have a 2" pvc tube which is a little small for the detonator plate and 3" is way too big. Unfortunately they do not sell 2.5" locally, which would likely be the best bet. I also cant find the radar dish from the old school tupperware. So any new alternatives to that? Since backpacks are a "loose interpretation" do you think having no mortar tube would hold me up? One of the new guys back packs kinda looks like a proton pack and I dont think it was a problem. Please help.

Why can't we just paint a suit red? The TKs paint their suits white.

Looks great AC! I'm glad you like my paint job. Have you joined your local garrison forums yet? My local squad started inviting me to events even though I am not offici yet. If your Squad Leader thinks you look good enough he can invite you. I'd start there. I'm sure Iz has some better input, butthay was my experience.

For $300 you can get a MUCH nicer bucket from an armorsmith like Scootch or RT-Mod or many others. Don't buy it for tripple the price. FISD has a section on armor makers and their various styles. Check it out.

Making some nice progress J. Yes you can trim the thighs, but yours look like a good length. Don't trim too much or they may look small on you, right now they look perfect.

If you look at the screen caps of the Elite Nova Troopers, they have drop boxes also. The concept art doesn't though, which I assume is why Izzi chose not to use them. I am debating using the drop boxes as they can help hide some gaps.

It looks like a flamingo, peachy, rusty kinda color to me.
