  1. Javier, we are all good with doing a face version of this costume. With such a simple change, it will be a variant on the existing costume. You will need to submit pics of yourself and the references showing you matching the source. Cool?
  2. All, myself, the JRS detachment leader, and our LMO liaison are all discussing the costume. Placement is going to require more information to know for sure if this is a pilot or strictly ground trooper. That information will come in new information on Battlefront 2 and also the July tie-in novel. For the time being, let's hold off discussing placement - that conversation will come later. For now, let's focus on what we need to do with any costume, develop a CRL for it. I've created an Inferno Squad section on the forum under our pending costumes and created a CRL thread placeholder. I'll also be moving this post to that forum. http://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/forum/129-inferno-squad-special-forces-trooper-battlefront-2/ Let's please all place our efforts into developing the CRL at this time. Thanks everyone!
  3. Guys, I am responding in the other thread for this. Jim, can we merge this one with the original as they are covering the same trooper?
  4. Guys, JRS will end up with a claim on this and please be respectful of our fellow detachments. I'm playing devils advocate here, because it can go both ways. Keep in mind, Inferno Squad is short for Inferno Squadron...Like a flight squadron. Everything I am reading suggest this is a pilot group fighting on the ground. That could be wrong. We'll need to get more info to confirm what the backstory is. I am not opposed to it coming here, let's just make sure it makes sense.
  5. Already discussing it. I'll let you know what I hear.
  6. Chef (UK) probably also had those parts. Not sure which will be cheapish shipping for you.
  7. It's not currently an approvable face costume, but it doesn't mean we couldn't try to make it one. If you want to go full tilt on weir and submit a face version of LMO review, I'd help you through the process, for sure.
  8. At the end of the day decision falls to the LMO. Some times, only one detachment is showing any interest in the costume and brings it into being and the decision is obvious. If in other cases multiple detachments are vying for it, each will have to make their case to the LMO who makes the final decision.
  9. Which specific greeblies and weapon are you looking for?
  10. Hey, I am wondering if you are talking about the DT specialist variant versus our level 2 crl stuff which we call 'specialist'.
  11. Just a note, the color used should match between the teeth and the vocoder. In your pics, the first looks too metallic and in the last, the teeth look too whiteish. Might be a lighting issue.
  12. Welcome to spec ops! It will be a tough project, but stay diligent and you'll get there.
  13. As for Satin, paint is the best method for an even finish. You could definitely dull it with pads, but it's tough to not have it be uneven.
  14. It's hard to tell in this photo because of shadows. Can you take one with a flash? It looks like you have some access on the left (facing the bucket) but I'd want a better lit photo before providing advice.
  15. Shiney! What questions do you have on the helmet?
  16. Very cool, man. Glad to see you here. It is a great group photo.
  17. Do you know what they are made of? The only other option I can think of is to work on stretching them out. With leather I would wet it before doing this. With some other materials, I would just go for it.
  18. WTF is probably your best bet. It might be at the limit, but should do the job.
  19. Coming along result nicely, Stephen.
  20. Clarification - I misspoke about centurion. It requires the split. Spec ops does not. It still tends to be more comfortable to split it and that's still approvalable.
  21. For the under suit, to get the length I needed, I had to order the long and then take in the other areas of the suit.
