  1. Looks right up your alley, lol. I am not aware of anyone else working on this. I'd say go for it and we'll look to add it to spec ops roster when the time comes.
  2. Thanks, Chris. A lot of the pieces look rubies-based. It's hard to speak to what a GML previously approved, but there do seem to be a lot of issues with the armor. Some things are easier to fix than others. The chest and back look too small, for starters. Some stuff looks like fit issues. Other things I can't quite see well enough, like marks on the helmets.
  3. Hey Chris, welcome to spec ops. I won't turn away help on the crl. The game release is the real thing we are waiting on to really try and lock things down. I dont mind it being worked on now, I just know once the game comes out we'll be revisiting everything and it is possible people could start working on the costume before than and now have to make changes. I don't want anyone taking the draft crl as gospel until the game is released and we have nice clear all-angles on the costume.
  4. Correct, it's all about it looking right for base approval
  5. We also work off of similar costumes and knowledge we gain there. The sources definitely lean toward black and since these are all the same character, weve made the call to black and knowing the look of other protocol droids, shiny is also what we've settled on
  6. The best I can say is keep at it and you will get there!
  7. Looks like things are coming along well. Having a hard time seeing the forearms and what going on with them.
  8. Hi Paula, are you talking about for a white Stormtrooper? If yes, that would be over at FISD, the 501st detachment for our white armor breathren. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/
  9. You can upload directly to the forums or you can use imgur for hosting. They provide a direct link to the file. I was able to open your links to see the files, but imgur would give you a link so you can embed them directly in your posts.
  10. Sounds likely good progress going on
  11. Hey Scott, it's really a matter of viable sources and there sadly aren't any with silver tube stripes.
  12. Can you point me towards that reference?
  13. Ive got the grayscale wiring as L2 on the current CRL. I know the source shots are fairly grayscale in nature so I wonder if this truly presents an issue or not. I am open to opinions.
  14. The key issue with action figures is they are so constantly inaccurate, taking shortcuts in the manufacturing process h what's easier isn't always accurate. That being said, we can use an action figure to help with certain details, mainly to corraborate what we already see. They are never used as the primary source for the main color. I'd like to give Ty a chance to comment on his particular build.
  15. For L2, if you would like to spend some time outlining LET requirements, we'd appreciate the help, Mark.
  16. It definitely falls into level 2, but for now it's included as a 'may' option so people know they can do it.
  17. CRL updated concerning stitching. LMO will approve and get it published.
  18. We could map them out - that would be awesome - but it would live hear on the forums. If someone wants to put that tutorial together with photos and descriptive text, I would happily pin it in the DT section. I can see the benefit, but the crl isn't a great place for that level of descriptive detail. We can add text for no visible stitching on the pouches. I see it very similar to TK boots in that respect.
