  1. Let me see what LMOs are ok with...since realistic is only in action figure form...or if we will be restricted to just Rebels style.
  2. Level 1 would be acceptable. If @pm07 has no major issue, I would like to move this forward.
  3. would you be ok if i allowed someone else to step up and finish this up for a model? possibly @Barons_Crown?
  4. Nice. White armor Stormtrooper...you should check-in w/ FISD first. Typically, they take all white-armor TK types AND they have the TK Commander. I've pinged the DL (Sarah) over there for you so they have a heads up.
  5. Cool. Yea, the approval of the blousing isn't so much a concern...that's a go. Within the CRL, we have the ability to embed links that direct back to the forums for particular pieces/techniques. I'm not military...and so for me (and probably most people), "blousing" is a foreign term. The idea is to embed a link in the CRL that has a small tutorial (I'd prefer our own supplied) w/ pictures and text description hosted here on the forums that the CRL points back to. If you'd like to create a detailed tutorial for blousing and how to achieve that look, that would be great!
  6. Good to me @Blackwatch. Goggles are good too...but would like to add inch measurements to this in addition to mm. Scarf...color needs to be settled.
  7. Thank you @Storms! I will examine this for Level 1 approval and make note of the things your GML may question you about or not approve of based on the Level 1 text of the CRL. At the end, I will make additional suggestions to improve the overall look of your costume. 1) Helmet decals are listed as "black or dark gray." Yours make use of a light gray. My suggestion...use full black matte decals if possible to contrast your gloss black helmet/armor. 2) Pouches should sit against the edges of the final rib. Move them closer to the center without concealing any of the ribbing. 3) Drop box strap for front/right box appears twisted. These should lay flat and not have any twisting. 4) I am concerned about your rear connection of drop box straps to the belt. I can't make out fully in the picture what is happening there, but the connection points should not be visible. 5) If you make drop box strap adjustments in the rear and pull the connections more to the center of the back of the belt, that should pull the drop boxes off of the front of your thighs and to the sides where they should be sitting. Right now, they are too far forward. 6) Rivet on bottom of tank should be painted black. From what I can see, it looks like it may be silver. Here are additional suggestions to improve look, but may not be necessary for your GML 1) Cummerbund crotch may need some tailoring to avoid the bunching up and folding in that area. 2) May want to consider shortening drop box straps. They should hang about 1" below the belt evenly on front and back straps. 3) Flight suit appears a little baggy in the arms area. Fixing this should help the overall look of your costume. I will attach pictures in another post noting some of the important areas. That is about it for my feedback I think. I hope it helps. Most of what you have looks good. Thank you for requesting some help! If you need any more feedback, please let me know. I am also tagging @furiosa in case she has any additional Level 1 feedback.
  8. @Storms Can you post a back shot as well please?
  9. I took pics of that fig at Celebration Chicago. Wonder if we can get a "realistic" version approved?
  10. Thanks @pm07 ! Any progress on jumpsuit (or timetable u can estimate) or should I pass lead to someone to get this moved towards completion?
  11. Perfecto @14166 ! Rocket Troopers (Rebels) it is. I was hoping that was going to be the case because they are pretty much just a stylized animated version of the BF2 Rocket Trooper with some tweaks. Thanks!!!
  12. Cool. As long as we have official (and sufficient) references, any can be pursued.
  13. @TX-15293 @Blackwatch can probably provide more. Here are a few that will be added to the CRL gallery in the near future.
  14. For all armor parts (including helmet) let's adjust the Pantone out and get the different color wording in there. I looked up olive green and there are some pretty bright variations that can be had from that... @JAFO suggestion of Field Grey seems the safer choice...unless we do a combo of both?
  15. Same issue in my eyes regarding cords. We aren't really to the blaster yet, but is the CRL model blaster painted black or all silver? It seems very shiny.
  16. Here are the scarves next to each other. I know lighting can be an issue...but these just don't seem close. If lighting is the issue, it will need to be corrected to match the reference so future builders (and GMLs) know what the correct color should be.
  17. Should be fixed (or will be once LMOs publish).
  18. No. I rushed the edit while at work today and caught the cylinder but not that. I'll have to request another unlock of the CRL. Doh.
  19. Made minor punctuation edits on boots. That's about it.
  20. I'm not aware of a good tutorial honestly. @furiosa any ideas? The majority of people buy kits that include the tube...tho original TB dets weren't actually corrugated, they were a normal cylinder-shaped tube wrapped w/ something like phone line or similar to look corrugated. I wonder if you could reach out to armor vendors and see if you can buy the corrugated tubes? Even just googling biker scout detonator I found some vendors that look like they have what you'd need. Give that a shot and see what you come up...I think as long as it's corrugated you can trim it to the proper length. Just remember to paint it black. I will PM you one example I found.
  21. I looked up the mobile game (canon) Star Wars Commander...and Jumptroopers are a bit different than this here. I also found the episodes these appear in Rebels...going to watch myself and verify what they are called. It's a new build (animated style) for sure...and I'm guessing there are no armor makers for this yet...but if anyone ever decides to build it, we can at least have the naming setup.
  22. Yea those look like they should work. I like how those don't have the metal bits at the top that mine have (which I had to remove/flatten). If you're going for a Level 2 approval, pretty much any boot is going to require sole modification with the cuts. Where'd you order those from?
  23. I have not seen the proposal yet and we haven't started any discussions on it, so we shall see.
