  1. Heck yeah!! Pull the CRL for lvl2 and make it happen. I hope to follow in my fellow Shadow Scouts shoes in the future so take lots of pictures😀
  2. Sorry! I've been off working my son's magma scout and upgrading my current biker scout to level two so I haven't been working this as much as I want to. Thanks for the reminder though! I'm going to get back on this by the end of the week. Thanks for the knock on the skull
  3. ISB!?! What the..? May I respectfully remind the boss man that he is an operator not a desk clerk and to purchase that DLT.....sir!
  4. Great looking Magma! Can you tell me the paint color you used on that? It's a really deep looking red and looks great. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Congrats trooper! Pouches look great!😉 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Shoot a PM to WTF on Facebook and see if they have any cover strips. If they do buy extra so you won't have to worry about it.
  7. I would always defer to Chef but maybe paint it the same color as your greeblies? That way you get a nice texture effect and it doesn't disappear or look like part of the TD box. Just a thought.
  8. Looks awesome Sall! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Sharp looking scout! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I'm doing the same Chef to keep the whole armor from looking monotone. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. The CRL only states that the snout will be painted a "contrasting" black to the armor. That makes me think that it could be flat or gloss depending on your preference. Since I'm planning to paint my armor satin I'm going to do all the greeblies in gloss to give the armor a bit of shine.
  12. Being able to build a Death Trooper....Great! Being able to talk with the costume designer....Priceless!!!
  13. Shoo Goo is the adhesive of choice for the boots. You should be able to find it at a craft store. Get your fabric stretches done then apply a layer of the goo to the underside, pull it tight and repin it. Then let it dry and trim the excess.
  14. Ouch! I'm not aware of anything you can do to keep it from splitting more since it's almost run the diameter of the cap. You would have to have a way to relieve the stress at the fracture point. I would message WTF on FB and see if you can obtain a new set of caps. He makes shadowtroopers and would most likely have that part in stock. Even if you could get a set in white you could at least paint it black to match so maybe check the FISD forums (whitearmor.net) as well.
  15. Maybe try therpf.com? Maybe you could find a 3D file there?
  16. I'd kinda miss the "x" part of the designation that is solely Spec Ops but the DT does certainly make sense.
  17. Woo-hoo! Congrats and well earned!
  18. Great idea! I did the same with my flight suit and the legs stay nice and tight.
  19. "Spec Ops attitude" I like that:) I can't wait to get back to my build.
  20. That was fast and nice work. You look good and I hope you enjoyed yourself. You can always fill in the gaps later and to be honest no one really sees the little things and we're always harder on ourselves (and rightly so). I love that you got in the spirit and "shadowed" the TK they're always fun to rattle. A good way to get em is to have a nice comfortable seat while they stand (heh heh). Hopefully no stormtroopers will read this. BTW don't mention to the scout biker that their bicept armor on the left is upside down:). Your armor looks great! Really nice work!
  21. Yeah Jim's right on with that statement and some we can have blasters but we leave them holstered. We have a clear discussion with event organizers on weapons as we realize it can be a sensitive issue. Each of our event listings in our forum have a section defining weapons status. Hospitals and movie theaters are examples of where we don't carry. I have found that most folks don't really care as they're just happy to interact with their favorite characters.
  22. Give ukswrath a shout out. I think he has a sale thread here for hovitips/mics but he also does TD clips as well. You can check with him on the whole TD assembly but you may have to get the clips from him and the TD from WTF. Walt is good people and probably get you one pretty quick. 23. I heard he's going to start doing full sized biker scout armor now too. I have his kids set and I'm enjoying the build. He does nice work.
  24. Why didn't that scout just shoot! But I digress:) that bund looks great and love the pocket idea! Nice work!
  25. Good to know as I was thinking of going that route as well. Yeah I think I'll stick to my white armor in the summer to be sure. That's hot enough as it is:)
