  1. Nice! Like the suspenders as well. Thays a good way to go. I don't know about washing it though. I'd be concerned about it bunching. I haven't washed my bund I just air it out after troops. Maybe Chef can help with advice here.
  2. Much better. Now bring the top left pouch over equal with the stitching. It's a tad crooked. It's a little easier if you lay your bund flat on a bed or table to adjust them as it's easier to align. That Shadow Scout is looking good! Can't wait to see it all together. Keep up the great work.
  3. Looking good! You're moving along just fine. You'll want to bring the right pouch over just about to the edge of the bund ribbing and bring those drop boxes up to about 1-1.5 inches from your belt. You are well on your way to approval just need to tighten a few things up.
  4. Looks like a cross between a clone and Fett armor. I'd look through the CRLs from the clone trooper and bounty hunter detachments and see what pieces are already in existance or that might require minor mods to work. That will save all sorts of time. I'd be happy to help in anyway I can.
  5. Whoa! That's one grumpy looking stormtrooper. Great to see this moving along!
  6. I thought the same thing when I saw the exploded view. It looked just like a TB snout sans aerator.
  7. I'd be surprised if someone over on the RPF hasn't started this one.
  8. Yeah just run it by the command staff. We started one for the Phase 0 Darktrooper. You want them in the loop as they are the prime between the detachment and the LMO. This one's going to hotter than a Tatooine summer so prepare for the fun.
  9. I went with the storm commando since there was a good overlap between the two armour's but now I just need to get the lid to finish it. Well, in for a penny in for a pound
  10. I know how you feel. Mama Wampa wasn't too happy when she saw the Storm Commando armor come in right after I finished my TB. Oooppss sorry dear
  11. Thanks Steve. Didn't know if this needed to be on its own or not. Appreciate the guidance!
  12. Crl draft moved to http://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/topic/4155-star-wars-battlefront-phase-0-dark-trooper-crl-discussion/
  13. Oh yay! Thanks Steve I was kinda bummed at first, It just didn't seem right not to have the P-style fishhook on a scout lid! But then again I'm a bit biased
  14. Ignore the fish hook comment. Darth Emphatic already mentioned not to use this. Sorry! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. No fish hook? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. I would go with the black for the TD. Chin cup is optional I believe as there are arguments for and against. I would putt the fishhook on as that's a scout identifier. Folks may not see it but it's a badge of honor among the scouts and it's just the right thing to have there IMO. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Finally! Someone else who calls them "thingies"!
  18. Here's the template Chef provided for the patches. Since this is the SpecOps page everything is in black and the image is also black so click somewhere below and the image will show up:)
  19. Congrats!! That's such a great feeling to get the welcome letter. Make sure you don't miss your name on the Legion main page. Welcome to the Legion!
  20. Do you think this would work Tim? http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-Mirrored-Replacement-Lens-For-Accuri-Racecraft-Goggles-/201221331065?var=&hash=item2ed9b9d879:m:mDNezmrUm91fRpm-3bp0iPQ&vxp=mtr I'm working on a KS and I was thinking of going with something like this for the visor.
  21. Thanks a lot Jon. I just don't like not meeting commitments. I'll get this posted as soon as I can.
  22. I have to apologize folks. I meant to post the draft yesterday but as I was working on it I dropped my laptop and cracked the LCD thereby toasting it so I have to order a replacement. I'm using my kid's TV as a monitor while I wait for a replacement so I'll be able to get this posted up today. Sorry for the delay.
  23. I'll have the draft CRL posted today Jon that we can start working with.
  24. I would definitely keep your GMO in the loop on this. That will be the interface to the LMO who has the Legion CRL approval authority and has it posted to the CRL listing on the main site. It might also be a good idea to have the DL (Steve) touch base with your GMO as well as that shows that the SpecOps Command Staff has looked at this and supports it. I'll begin drafting the CRL but I'll need you to weigh in with the differences between the template and the darktrooper. Most notably around the area of the jetpack. It would also help to have front, back, and side views to help move the CRL along. Some of the other items I've learned is that you'll want to solid evidence as to the canon of this armor which it seems you already have. I'll post up the draft in a day or so as I'm going to keep a draft of it in Word. It's just easier to start it there than on the forum text editor.
