This is the best we have at the moment. I know there are other references out there, I just need to dig through my computer. Jaiden Turr'n's Figure photos

The original WEG Storm Commando picture. Notice all the custom armor. Star Wars Galaxies TCG The Hasbro Storm Commando figure: I'll take full 360 shots of it when I get a chance later. These were on the web. They took some of the SC pieces from above for the head and shins, but used a Shadow Scout body, probably to save cash on the mold. Star Wars Minis Rebellion Era Campaign Guide (WotC): Not a clear shot, but you can still see the custom visor and squared ears. These are wearing scout boots though. This used to be in the SW Databank. Still has custom forarms and shins (judging from the top) You can see the angle on the side of the visor going from the ear to the top of the brim, as opposed to the straight fall on the scout visor. This one has scout knees pads on it. This one has a cool WWII style bucket, but it differs the most from every other reference and uses TK pieces for the thighs forearms and handplates. Every other piece of armor seems custom, as they don't match either scout or TK style. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -iz

Cut out the ears and put in the mesh, so this is still moving. -iz

Okay, I did some stuff on this today! I started cutting this up and heating and shaping until I got bored today. This is the extra faceplate I'm trying to mold into a shadow scout. Nowhere near done, but it's a start. Attached the tank today. Yay! Most of the pieces have velcro on them that need it. I still need to sew the rigging. I also cut a hole in the back of the tank. Going to experiment with making a pocket back there to hold items. It's moving, slowly, but moving. -iz

Scout Gloves arrived today! And TIE gloves for a friend's build and an Amp for my Nova that's in my Nova thread. -iz

Yes, I'm pulling this over from the other boards too... after all I STILL NEED TO FINISH IT! MUAHAHAHAHAHA! ---------------------------------------------------- Okay, so I found this pretty cheap on eBay the other day, and it finally came in. It is SC black ABS armor. I got it for about $200 less than SC sells them new and it has a cummerbund that may fit me, and a jumpsuit that definitely makes me sing soprano when I try to put it on, so that's got to go. On top of that, for some odd reason large pieces of all the corners were cut off the shoulder bells. SC is actually working with me to acquire new ones (Might be painted white ones though) and these will probably go towards the Shadow Guard project, so all is not lost. But of course, I'm not going to stop there. I'm going to get this together then like the Nova, I'm planning on making the custom parts for an actual WEG Storm Commando and just be able to swap out pieces between the two. It'll be fun. This time I'll need to build the shins and forearms from scratch. Probably a mix of Sintra and Fiberglass. Then I'll need an extra faceplate and visor/blinder if not a whole new helmet and rip it apart to mod it for the the right look. This'll probably be a thread that's a bit slow on updates, as I'll need to order an undersuit that fits first to size the straps and... I have a few other projects going on... Like a GNK droid, S. Guard, and the Basic Nova design, and a TIE for my friend in VA who's going to Celebration. Too much armor, too little time. -iz

Here we go! One of the shoulderbells fell to the side and no one noticed so I'll be retaking these wednesday. The Proper way to catch a rebel!

I was able to work a bit more on it... All I have left now is the suspenders. My chest of finished parts: The Ab plate which is drying and sitting at a funky angle: I haven't actually tried any of the parts on yet; I'm working with my other armor as a reference, so I hope it fits all right. I guess I'll find out soon. -iz
