Looks great man, awesome work. Aside from what Chef has noted, make sure you get the buttflap, riding patches, and elastic thigh straps added to the jumpsuit. If you get it altered a bit, it'll look better too. I could not tell if the TD greeblie is present, but if not, get that dude added too. Awesome work all-in-all.

Looks really cool. I prefer shiny armor, but it kind of reminds me of these guys.

Overall, the goal of the Specialst program is to be as "screen accurate" or as "comic accurate" as possible. So, I'm a fan of the separate butt join for the back section.

A lot of the Imperial Scout Troopers (Pathfinders) use the DLT-19 which is based on a German MG-34. It was also used by the Sandtroopers in ANH. I utilize this one for my TB Biker Scout costume. I've also got a modified version with an added scope, making it sniper worthy.

I also have this lid and the padding works very well.

The DLT-19 is an awesome choice Nick. If you get a chance to grab one, snag it up. The Hyperfirm version from Sci-Fire.com is very light weight, and highly detailed. You will love it.

Wow, AWESOME WORK TODDO! Very nice looking scout indeed. Chef has covered the details I noticed (TD, etc). Only other item would be to maybe close the gap between the chest/back a wee bit more. But that's just a taste thing. Top notch sir! So...this is #9, right?!

Alex - don't give up on this one. I have read your post, get your point, and love this costume as well (I'm a biker scout on BSN too). Chef is one of the best scouts I have met since costuming and knows his stuff. You are in good company and I know you can complete this one and champion it. Show us your stuff man!

Cool, I keep a little foam block in my pouches to help them stay square. The KS belt is fine and is one-piece so that's a plus. The only issue with KS is the larger boxes but that should not affect approval at all. Just raise them up a little bit more.

Looks pretty good. See if you can find some foam or something to place within the pouches. You might also raise your belt boxes just a tad too. These are cosmetic recommendations that will help to tighten your appearance. Great job so far!
