Good topic. I don't use fans and even live in South Texas where you would think it's needed. There is not much room in my bucket and get a good amount of ventilation. I have considerd adding one though at some point. I've also got the Aker/icom combo and have the amp under my chest with the icom mounted to the chest plate. I also have a small mp3 player with the 501st trooper mp3 loop playing along. It sounds cool and I can talk along with it and to people with out being too loud.

I also own a CCC that I built based on their kit. It turned out nice and as Izzi mentioned just requires a little TLC every once in a while. I'll PM you some nfo before you go there...

Really nice work overall! You did a great job with the faceplate/visor attachment. Are you going to use 3m bolt covers? Only comment...I would trim a wee-bit more around the eyes. Just my 2 cents...

Typically...you would post pics of your "work in progress" or WIP. You know, box 'o goodies, trimming, assembly, etc. This makes it easier to ask for help on sticky situations.
