To me, the real question is how well can it be replicated. Looking at the piece you could get a similar look with a strip pretty easily without it being stitched in. Level two can then be the proper fully stitched strip. Thoughts?

It's a labor of love and great to see this much progress so far. Once all the pieces are locked in, i dont think youll have any problem finding troopers that want them .

Also, are you on your local garrisons board? If not, I would get connected there and look for srmor parties in your area. Youll get some great hands on help that way as well.

Looks like a velcro closure to me. Cant imagine these would clamshell well enough to keep the closure line.

Ya, i think the lighting probably throws off the color a bit, but the assembly looks good.

Yep, that would do the trick. There are also online photo resize tools and hosting sites. I use imgur which can resize the photo as you upload it and provides the img code similar to photobucket.

I agree, it looks more mold-y than the shoretrooper. I do think either method would probably be able to pull off the right look, though.
