  1. Dan, I think we could review the existing pics and discuss the specific of what is needed. I can do a run-down if it would help. Thanks for all your work on this one - it is awesome to have them out there!
  2. Very cool. That armor strikes such a pose...I want some!
  3. Sounds heavy But seriously, it looks awesome. What's that, 11lbs to put on your back...it sounds like a lot, but it looks so great it is probably worth it.
  4. The weathering and darker gray updates look great. Congrats!
  5. Those look great to me. Awesome find!
  6. When were you in Vegas? I was there the weekend of the 21st.
  7. Welcome, Brady. The AM with an ATA bucket would be approvable and a lot of troopers have AM armor and are quite happy with it, especially for the bigger trooper. Ill send you a PM on the armor contact.
  8. Long road, but this is a killer costume add. We'll continue to work on the CRL. Dan, take a look at the weapons section of the updated CRL on the 501st site. We made a change to the color combination to be more fitting for this costume. It eliminates the white. I wanted to make sure you saw that. I'll get these threads moved into a proper section here on the boards now that the costume is approvable.
  9. Aweome! So glad to see another swampy!
  10. CRL has been updated with the final needed pictures now that I have edited them. The CRL should now be in an approvable state. Eric/Steve, can you fine gentlemen confirm? Thanks!
  11. That's why I bought the TK. Had no idea what I was even going to do with it, lol. It is sitting in the box still, either for selling or to convert into something for spec ops
  12. Awesome! Once that TX is in your profile, let me know. Also, would be worth updating your profile with your ID and i can't get you updated to 501st status .
  13. The big benefit there is hands-on help through armor parties that garrisons often through. Bring your armor and you can work on it in person with others. The Magma is close enough to a standard TK that most troopers at an armor party would be able to assist. We will, of course, help out here as well as you have questions along the way and I look forward to more progress pics as you go along.
  14. Awesome! Can't wait to see the first pics of your progress. Welcome, Reed!
  15. I know you mentioned not doing battle damage, but I wanted to make a note on weathering and then I can speak to your initial request. Weathering is something that crops up every few years. There is no official approval on weathering right now. If someone wanted to push weathering through to match a specific source, it wouldn't outright be shot down, but they (and we) would need to work with the LMO on it and it should be expected that the weathering would need to match the source exactly. To date, no one has followed that through to the end and troopers have for one reason or another decided in the end to take the easier path to approval. On to your question, if not doing weathering, what specifically are you looking to match in this figure? Most of what I see is pretty spot on to the current CRL. The Silver lens, frown, vocoder combo is approvable. The pouches are not currently approval. The DLT is already an option for the Shadow Stormtrooper, so no problem there. Leave out the pouches and you are essentially creating a standard shadow stormtrooper that won't have any problems being approved.
  16. On the gray, I would darken both the cod and the knees. They are almost white, at least in the pictures. For weathering, I am good with it as is. You could go the more sandy style which is a little more realistic looking, but this is definitely approvable. For consistency, it would be nice if the cummerbund had a little weather as well, but not the end of the world. One pouch doesn't look like it is closed correctly. It looks like it would close correctly but not sure if that was just misaligned after it was opened last or if pouch closure is off.
