Okay, got it. I thought you might mean that, but then I wonder if maybe there is some other lens out there I am not aware of. The CRL doesn't support it because there is no source for it. To be fair, the 'magma' trooper has very little source material to begin with and has been inherited in it's current iteration from years and years ago as a red stormtrooper copy essentially. Heck, the gentle giant statue was really model of 501st members wearing red stormtrooper armor as opposed to it coming out of some lucasfilms databank. All that being said, the problem we'd face is having no source to support mirrored lenses.

There are things I like about each and things I don't like. The line of the lens seems more accurate on the animefan bucket, but the gap between the lens and the trim seems too fat on animefan and much better on Thorssen's.

Is there a such thing as 'black' mirrored? Can you post a pic?

You can use a canvas belt too. Trooperbay sells them, though I dont know what the shipping ould be to you. The patent leather you got also looks fine.

No backing in the ear holes is best. Thats the specialist requirement and saves you extra work

The armor looks killer and we'll get eyes on the crl in detail. At a glance I havent seen amything out of place.

The biggest concern with doing other more secure method is really theft. Otherwisen the clips will do the job, you just have to be carefull no one slides it off.

Is the backpack a standard part of the costume in the game?

Yep, looks like the difference of the armor being pulled in black (I assume) and the bucket being painted. Might just need a(nother) gloss cover coat.

Ya, I have a buddy that has one and it was a bit of pain all around, but it looks pretty cool when done. I am sure the non-cannon version you are working on will look the part. Looking forward to seeing it.
