  1. Hey Dorothy. We'll definitely to offer more when we see the picks, but since I can picture pretty well the issue you are likely having with your ears, I can offer some advice. Once of the keys as I am sure you found out is getting the curves right. This can often mean some trimming on the inside of the ear so the line it takes matches up with the bucket just right. In most case you might need to help the angle a bit heating the cap and slight bending it to add more curve. Some people use a heat gun and other boiling water to accomplish this. I will tell you I had to do both of these steps on my original bucket. I dipped the ear cap in boiling water for 10-15 seconds and then very slight bend it the direction it need to go. Once the angles are better, you can determine where you might need to trim a little more. Always trim a little at a time. You can always trim more, but you can't put it back (in most cases) Hope that helps. Let's see the pics and we can help with the rest
  2. New pictures! Cannot wait until I can pick up a kit from you, Ty
  3. Congrats! Now, what will be your first upgrade Just kidding, but it becomes an awesome never ending cycle
  4. Well, where are they? I want to see them!
  5. That is how it goes sometimes. When you are ready, we'll be here to assist.
  6. As another method, though I used this one in the past too, but wanted to try something else out, I use a piece of elastic that connects on the inside of each side of the calf. This then sits under my foot so when I put my boot on, it stays down. Not sure which method I like better yet.
  7. My first thought was, "That looks cold..."
  8. Just tell them you were really mean to Carrie...
  9. For the shoulder strap float, a strap is used to keep the chest and back in place and the shoulder straps float in the back
  10. For the 'no gap', here is a pick of ACJay's armor. See how there is not a gap between the kidney or Ab. It should either overlap/butt perfectly or a shim should be added to fill the gap. Mine are shimmed.
  11. Are you strapping around the palm of your hand for the hand plates?
  12. Very cool. I don't recognize that Juno. You know if she is on IOC?
  13. You have cute Jedi out that way Looks like a fun time.
  14. Not required, but you can paint the clips. I think it gives a cleaner look.
  15. Very nice, looks like a great shop to have access to.
  16. My recommendation is either no painting so it is gloss black or a flat black in the traps. Gray is acceptable, just not my preferred combo.
  17. Nice to see this. I'd love to see a pick of the DL-44
  18. Great work, Pete. If you want to throw an additional tip on there, for those that own a soldering iron, it makes a great tool for poking the hole in the plate and for shoring up the edges of the strap.
  19. Awesome work, Jim, and congrats! I really want to get a Shadow Scout at some point.
