  1. It is indeed a Republic Commando and there are quite a few of them out there.
  2. From a quick review, I would try and tighten up the forearms, they look a little big. The shoulders could be trimmed a little to keep things more proportional. Pandatrooper at FISD has a great tutorial for modding for smaller troopers.
  3. Orsan, check out Pandatroopers thread at FISD, it has some good info on down-sizing.
  4. That stuff has always scared me and now I have another reason to avoid it
  5. Always good to have a back burner project. I have had the JKA Shadow Trooper on my list for years...
  6. As already stated, if you are looking for parts, another trooper will likely be able to assist.
  7. What is the minimum size sheet you need? I swear I saw one sourced not that long ago...
  8. WHAT?! Get those pics posted now, mister!
  9. VaderDave also sells neck seals if you haven't gotten one yet. PM for contact info if you need one.
  10. 3 is not a set in stone rule, if you can find full front and back coverage we would be good.
  11. I love it when a plan comes together...
  12. Congrats Drew! Welcome to the legion!
  13. I was beginning to wonder on going for approval as I kept noticing things just a bit off, lol. Looking good and if you ever want approval, from what we have seen so far, its a few minor changes and you are in.
  14. Eastbay has a great affordable undersuit.
  15. Have you checked Interstate Plastics or Grainger, I remember them both having sheets when I was looking a while ago.
  16. Panda trooper has one great tutorial, I even referenced it for mods at one point. How short are you in the arm area. Is it enough that cutting one full indent out will line it up just right?
  17. I always didn't wear my glasses when trooping, but that was an option for me. I think contacts are the way to go and I did do that a couple times, but rarely. I had lasik, so it is now a non issue for me, but I know with my old FX I was able to get it on with the glasses. The smaller bucket I have now, I doubt it. If you have a spare pair of glasses, perhaps you can split them at the bridge and rig them in front of the lenses in the bucket.
  18. Everything is really looking quality from the start!
  19. I am going to let the experienced Magma's chime in here, but I have heard of troopers using auto vinyl paint, but there will be trial and error getting the right match. I suggest using a spare piece of boot like material to test on.
  20. Awesome! What thickness does the abs need to be?
  21. You can use any proper width material and cover it in black leather or leatherette, as well.
