Since it's a scootch bucket, I could just send you a dome. (when is sdcc?) Then you could just reassemble and get it repainted. I've never had that story of reaction to a hot glue gun with his stuff. Strange. Is it a high temp or a low temp craft gun? -iz

Chest and back look good! The ankle holster still looks a bit over sized, but without close up shots, I can't tell for sure. Might be a way to trim it down, but you'd be a better judge as you see it i person. -iz

CRLs consist of information gathered from our known visual references. They are not "created" how the detachment would like to see the costume, rather when a vote takes place, it is to see how the majority interprets the references. There are times however, where no vote or interpretation insights are needed as the outcome would be the same regardless. No one can claim that the lenses on the two visual references are silver. If we were to vote to leave the option of silver lenses, it would be removed by the LMOs from the CRL once they asked for a reference to support it. If you do have an official LFL reference of a magma with mirrored lenses, please present it so we can place it back in. -iz

Well that's a problem that wasn't caught. There aren't any references for silver lenses. That got stuck in there as it was an edited Blackhole Trooper Crl. Sorry. I have the CRL corrected. -iz

Very nice job there! I remember the ebay pics of that thing. Definately took quite a bit of work. Did you make the lenses interchangeable so you can go from canon black/dark green to the non-canon mirrored? -iz

Hmm... You're going to need to cut everything to the right shape, so you'll most likely have little notches for the curves to sit right. I was thinking about trying it myself, but I'm not sure I like how much shine it gets. Looks cool, but something seems off to me. Keep working at it though, you might be stumbling onto something good. -iz

The LMO will accept either at the moment. This may be something that changes as we get the CRL figured out. Also I suspect the creation of the CRL will open up a dialogue with the LMOs. Sorry it's not a real definitive answer, but that's why we're creating the CRLs to begin with. -iz

Truth is work has been keeping me too busy to be able to separate this out. Next free moment I get is setting up the CRL Teams then I'll separate this and any associated threads out into their own forum, and set up a reference pic and proposed CRL thread. -iz

Did I ever mention how tiny your feet look in that thread? And I have a lvl 50 Fire/Kin decked out with 12 or so Purple enhancements and a 4D all IOed out. Both with a 3rd teir +1 Level Shift Alpha and an unlocked 3rd tier Judgment slot. Fun time slammin freaks there! Can't wait for my Fire/Stone Tank to catch up! ......But that's a different game.... -iz

The hand plates are probably fine. I don't believe you'll be able to find a smaller set, unless you go with latex. What you can always do is add "finishing strips" to the sides of your biceps to cover it or just glue the chip back in place. I'd probably start With trimming the back down to size, and see if you need to start trimming the front to fit afterward. -iz

It's a good habit to check here before you order something off eBay. Usually we can find a trusted seller for most parts, so you don't take the risk. Though with gloves, I don't think that'll be a big deal. -iz

There are a few clone makers out there that will pull you parts, so you wouldn't need to invest in a full suit. In order to get this 501st approved you would need to match the parts and the paint scheme. The suit you have now looks like a cool custom set of armor though, and would draw good amount of attention at conventions. -iz
