  1. BH, Get back to work! -iz ...And where's my coffee?!
  2. Well you don't get your own army by being Mr. Nambsy Pambsy! -iz
  3. Okay, so I put velcro on the other shin, spent time grinding down more return and started gluing the biceps together. Doesn't seem like much, but I was answering questions to help out 4 others at the same time. So I'd say it was an eventful night! -iz Box of goodness! My biceps have grown since I trimmed these, so I'm playing with gluing them slightly bigger than they were meant to be. Hope it works!
  4. The rule of three was a rule under one LMO years ago. Thomas never used it and clearly stated multiple times. The current LMOs do not require 3 references either. Like Thomas, all they require are clear 360 degree images of the costume being reviewed. If you hear a GML spouting the rule of three, after this much time has past, might want to ask them to visit the GML forums every now and then. -iz
  5. You've been approved! Gratz bro! -iz
  6. Ooh... I've got one on order too. Can't wait! -iz
  7. It is. Everything is placed so it fits to my head perfectly, but others have a hard time getting theirs inside. (And I may be adding one more electronic in there! if it fits.) I guess I should mention, that I took the rubber trim off when I took those pics because I was reattaching it. It had started to come loose in areas. The joys of maintaining armor! I have the two fans up front blowing on my face for two reasons. First is I wear a balaclava so I can't feel air on the back of my head. The second is because if I don't feel air going past, I get a little claustrophobic and have to take a break every 15-20 minutes to breathe. If I have the fans running it tricks my mind so I can troop for hours. -iz
  8. Hmm... Maybe I'll try that. I still to run out and grab some more leather for my next belt. That' gives me an idea on what looks nice, though. Wheels are turning.... -iz
  9. Yeah, well now that I'm actually getting things figured out, it'll be easier to help him! -iz
  10. Alright, so here's me playing with armor again! First off, I hate return. The only armor that has it is fan made. All LFL references that I've seen don't have it, so I took a dremel to it all and now it looks like it'll be nice and comfy. I decided I wanted a smaller ridge that the am armor arrives with and I needed to bring in the shin a bit, as I'm not a Swamptrooper who's related to the Hulk. So I cut down the front and back ridge of the exterior halves to 20mm. On the in interior one though I only cut the front down to 20mm. the back I left long, so it leaves a big flap that tucks into exterior calf. This way when i go to size it over my boots, I'll definitely have the excess needed to close them properly, plus since I don't need to get rid of it, it'll allow for changes in the future. One day, I'll finish this! -iz
  11. All right, here I go (I know, it's about time): Here's the back of the bucket. It shows the amp and the 9v pack that powers it. Stays on my head with a hardhat suspension. Front (Duh!) I have the 2 fans each powered by a 9v that's tucked in the tube. I took a wire cover ran it along the inside of the tube as well. Kind of gives it a finished look, and hides the wires that run to the mic tip speakers. Also you can see the mic. It's all self contained, and has been added a peice at a time, so it looks pretty haphazardly crowded. I'm thinking about taking it all apart and trying to reseat everything. Just too lazy at the moment. So there is my mess of a bucket. -iz
  12. That pic reminds me of M. Bison.
  13. D'oh! He just updated his info on his website, and isn't pulling the helmet currently. -iz
  14. That's only because "fat" was in the same sentence. Now if it was "phat" it probably would have been directed at you... Or Splat. -iz
  15. You just called me short and fat! Sweet! -iz
  16. Just got an email from SC today, and their order of black abs is in, so you can contact them for black scout armor. (Yes, I believe you can buy the helmet separately.) -iz
  17. Sorry to hear that. A good animal companion is hard to find. -iz
  18. I know it's a pain, but you might want to add some more polys to that to make it a bit rounder. Might save some sanding time later. -iz
  19. Yep the heating section at Lowes. (Love that store) As far as an "even texture" goes, here is the helmet I made using tht foil tape method for the teeth. -iz
  20. No worries. Why are you apologizing? There's no "YOU MUST READ IZZI'S THREAD" rule! Yeah, everything was done for it to be fully approved. I just haven't taken "profile quality" pictures of it yet, due to the cold weather, and the fact the garrison photo sessions last year were in my garage. -iz
  21. Aluminum foil tape that you find in the heating section works well and there is no mess. That was the secret to mine anyway. -iz
