Well we got official word on the snow scout the other day. Still working on other armors. So the detachment is starting to push things forward and at least get answers. (Even if we don't like them!) -iz

501st doesn't require a weapon, so you could weild one, but it wouldn't be the most accurate thing. Nothing stopping you. The Novatroopers here can though. -iz

It looks like an AM recast, however that is for white armor, even though they show a black trooper. -iz

Non of the SWG troopers have thermal dets, so it's safe to say that one will be needed as it is based on standard TK armor. Sort of like the scouts not having boot holsters. There are enough references to show that all scout class armors would have it. -iz

Hm... Welcome to the crew! I see an ESB theme going on! As far as paint goes, it really depends on the ABS your armor is pulled from. You need to determine if it's a gloss or semi and if you'd rather have it a high gloss or semi. You can either try and find a semi gloss paint for the helmet, or use a gloss paint then Future Shine the armor so it matches. -iz
