  1. I would have thought that was upside-down... -iz
  2. That's right! I get little people on my shoulders and you don't! (Seriously, have you seen Wraith?) That's so wrong!
  3. Yeah, the RPG nova was turned down. -iz
  4. Was what the Nova medic? -iz
  5. Here's the SW mag cover you're referring to right? The problem here, is even though there is black on them, I appears to be more for shading than to achieve a smoldered look. Also, as this is a low detail image, I'm not sure the LMO would accept it. He recently turned down a Novatrooper variation as well for the lack of detail in the pic provided. As I said, you can always try it and present the reference for him to decide, but you need to be willing to repaint if that's the final decision. -iz
  6. Glad to hear you're alright. Looks like it's time to troop for a good cause.
  7. You would have to complete it and send it up through your GML. I'm allowed to speak up on the GML boards, but don't really have the authority to post armor applications. I can tell you now that he he'll say that he will allow it IF you provide a reference. He's pretty solid with that. Many TXs have had to repaint their ab buttons since they didn't have a reference for the colors they used. -iz
  8. It looks awesome burnt, but I'm not the LMO! -iz
  9. Testors #1138... must have been fate. -iz
  10. Yeah, look the the GG statue. That's our best reference for it. -iz
  11. AS much as I like te look, we don't have a "weathered" Magma picture reference. Might want to add another coat of red and tray to keep the large black spots from bleeding through. Also, after it's fully dry, instead of clear coating use a automotive wax or Future shine on it. (I like FutureShine as it can be removed easier). -iz
  12. You do know that's Splattum's nickname, right? (And he had it before the armor! ) -iz
  13. You'd be surprised how many people do not follow that simple rule... -iz
  14. Can't wait to see them! -iz
  15. Where was that TIE dress uniform taken from? -iz
  16. No you don't! (Though it might be easier) Take some turpentine and a cloth (wear gloves) and just soak the cloth and rub as much paint of as you can. Then let it dry for a few days (or a week!) and repaint. I actually had to do that with Splat's Magma pauldron, as it was a grey one that I painted gold for the nova, then replaced it with a nicer one, so I painted it black for his (my?) Magma. I'd suggest doing that if you ever need to do paint touchups on the pauldron as well. It never does seem to dry 100% -iz
  17. OOh... Pretty.... I think you need to send the helmet to me first... You know, for that "quality check.' -iz
  18. Actually I have a story about that.... But I'm never going to share... Free Airfare?! I'm onboard! I wil sacrifice my lips in the service of the Empire! Hey I'll even pay to kiss me, while I'm there! Sorry, Bro! But this thread needed a little humor, right?! Sometimes it's best to leave the ramblers alone. -iz
  19. Nope, it'll make it too thick and will never dry. Just wipe it down with some rubbing alcohol let it dry then put LIGHT coats of paint on until it looks good. Put it on too thick and the vinyl will prevent it from ever drying properly. -iz
  20. I thought it was more like "Admit it, izzi want a cheap chance to make out with everyone... " That is why I throw myself on the floor and hold my breath often. Had I known it was the other way too, I would have just started asking people. -iz
  21. Duh! You cut the cod! Now that we solved that, it's the problem of actually being able to SEE out of the helmet to administer aid.... CAn you do chest compressions through plastoid? -iz
  22. HA! Salt Lake can rain like that! Just enough to pull the dust out of the air, but not enough to wash it off whatever it lands on! -iz
