Hey David I read up your post on the FG boards so welcome. You are in excellent we have a lot experience on here when it comes to building awesome Spec Ops costumes. I myself dont have much knowledge on the shadow scouts so I am leaving it to the experts. As far as I know TBSDiva in florida completed a shadow scout last year you may see her marching in SWW. She is super nice so if you have time maybe say hello or something. She resides in Jacksonville though so shes a bit far away. Anyways welcome good luck with your build, cant wait to see your progress and dont forget when you are finished and approved to stick around and check out the awesome programs we have . I think I had mentioned the Dragon Slayers on the FG boards let me know if you are interested.

Well I guess a small update, nothing super exciting yet. I ordered the anovos kit so once that comes in winter i can get started on sanding and painting and adding the other parts. I have commissioned wood chuck to make the FA-3 Fletchette which will probably be ready in June/July. Will be ordering the add on parts from Fivezero sometime next week. I already have the spray paint and tools ready to go so just have to be patient. Will be working on the CRL either this week or sometime next week as well. I also purchased TFU videogame So yeah just wanted to update will post pictures once I have things in hand.

Awesome well I am glad you are still working on this and I will continue to look at this build as it progresses. Indeed its like you never know how long this end up taking once you start making them. My current project (Deathwatch Torch) taking wayyy longer than expected. Anyway keep up the great work I would love to see this offered as a kit and hopefully I can purchase a helmet for my helmet collection and maybe there might be a sithtrooper commander to come out of this hehehe i can hope. Anyways awesome I look forward to seeing the progress pictures.

Hey Jason wow good luck with this build i bet it is challenging but going to look awesome once you are finished. Was just checking in to see how things were going with this and if you are still going at it.

Did this end up on a different detachment or was there any headway with this costume?

I am curious to know what became of this endeavor?

So what was the final decision about this? It seems there was still some issues regarding source material etc. I thought I saw two from the video of celebration this past year if I am not mistaken. I think it would be pretty neat to add this to the mix if it ends up being legit enough.

Its been quite some time any updates on this costume? From what I could see it looked really good and seemed you were making progress.

Looks like I am going to be able to make the Shadow Evo Trooper after all. It probably wont be finished until either the end of the year late January. I am so stoked as this looked like it wasn't going to be a possibility. Oye guess I have caught the costume bug as I have a Deathwatch Torch costume that will be completed in June but I have too much love for Spec Ops to not get this done. YAY Reference pictures
