  1. With the direction we are going with the specialist program and since it looks like you are going with our current specialist standard which are primarily based on screen accuracy, a canvas belt should be fine.
  2. Hasbro E-11 can be modded to meet specialist requirements, but keep in mind, blasters are always optional. One of the keys is making sure you have the correct number of T-tracks with lower row open and ensuring you have the proper holes. So, to answer your question, you will have to modify the E-11 to meet the specialist blaster requirements, but your armor can be specialist without a blaster. I know, its a little funny.
  3. I agree 100% with those that have said it looks recast. It was my first thought when I read your first post. The level of detail is not there as it should be. The devil is in the details, as they say, and you can clearly see it in the areas that should have sharper edges and they appear much more rounded.
  4. The bucket looks similar to scootch's, but I see minor differences. What is the measurement ear cap to ear cap across the front?
  5. Another welcome! I am sure Matt and Ty have you taken care of.
  6. Awesome. Be glad to see both of those in person for the first time!
  7. We will see you guys later this month at wonder con 2013, right?
  8. Pete is in the process of a bicep tutorial so it is a great place to start. First thing I would do is lay out all the pieces together on the floor where they belong on your person. This will let you know just how much trouble you are in . Seriously, though, just take it one piece at a time, but be conscious of what pieces go together or overlay each other.
  9. Very nice find. She definitely looks like she is getting ready to shoot someone.
  10. If you need help with the Jawa, let me know. I have a garrison mate-ess that built one for her son.
  11. Kits can take time, but asking for periodic updates should not be a problem at all.
  12. Don't worry Nick, we wouldn't be surprised if Ty actually had 250 projects.
  13. That first pic from Jim is the one I used when rigging my snaps with my suspenders. Gave myself a very pretty gash in the finger while cutting the plastic with my dremel:
  14. Good to see you again, Thomas. Great advice above.
  15. Welcome. Make sure to get good snaps...michaels will only get you so far
  16. Now that happens to me all the time. My favorite is when another kid corrects the kid that said it with a "no, that is a stealth trooper" or I have heard "blackhole" out of kids. I would be proud to be that kids father.
  17. Differs by trooper. Some people really love the mirrored lenses and silver frown. I prefer the black frown and lenses. All up to you based on what you think looks most bad-ass.
