  1. Best wishes! A squad mate of mine here in Florida is submitting is Flame this week as well.
  2. Its possible...but the Legion is totally separate from LFLs established lore in a sense. We are a costuming organization not a replica of the Imperial military. If what you say is applied everything could (would) need to be retconned...wipe away OT TKs altogether because of the lore timeline. This crops up often when people debate what costumes belong in what detachment. Many (myself included) have difficulty separating the character lore and their place in the SW universe...its a factor for sure when LMOs decide but there are several others (not a perfect science) unrelated to lore. Hope that answers your question.
  3. My take (for what its worth)...its an old game with lower quality graphics then what we are used to...not everything will render spot on to its intent (as we noticed with the helmet dome (use of a black line instead of actual texture)...id say not to overthink it. Game was created well before Rogue One was ever even imagined and so Id say when in doubt, act like Rogue One never existed (because it didn’t at game creation)...and ONLY lean towards OT (or TK models from the same game) when needing to make “interpretations” to fill gaps. Think thats prob the best approach...and what the original designers would have had to do. Keep it up!!!
  4. @Blackwatch How does this sound?: There are no code cylinders present.
  5. @Blackwatch Is the orange compad text replacing the green there? @MahXPrime Shall we add a line that there are no code cylinders in the pockets in Level 1 or in Level 2? @TX-20113 can post a reference pic here confirming
  6. You guys know Im no good with colors. Are the boots actually green? Like without a doubt?
  7. @Blue Hatter I say it all the time...Im horrible with color...but from those pics it looks much better compared to the reference colors. Not as blue...more gray.
  8. Possible to see some pics? How about a combo of those things...velcro, snaps...maybe even magnets?
  9. Very cool! I would only caution against over-interpretation (ie the vocoder). If the goal is to clear a CRL or approval after a CRL is approved it would need to lineup with that...which means lineup with references from which the CRL is based. There is a drafted CRL which hasnt been visited in awhile as no one has been able to push it over the finish line so far. Make sure to read that over thoroughly...though its far from complete. Good work! Best wishes on your journey here!
  10. Hey @Blue Hatter just checking in on your progress here.
  11. Lemme know. Wanna add that bad boy to the CRL.
  12. @Fivezero Were you ever able to finish the Rocket Launcher by chance???
  13. For sure. What you troop with is always between you and your GML/CO...and Tonys tips are sweet. I know for Anovos I had to pop out the old mesh and replace with wider mesh. I may still have some even
  14. Ok...just a heads up on those tips. We evaluated Halycons app prior to the CRL update publishing which did not specifically mention wide mesh tips. Im not sure those will be good for Level 2 going forward (you can switch them after though of course). Here is a comparison pic...ukswrath tips (from Halycons bucket) vs my TK bucket where i replaced the original Anovos mesh with a wider mesh for centurion approval
  15. Looks good! Paint those detonator clips lol. Also Im not familiar with the mesh used in the hovi tips by RS. make sure for specialist you use wide width mesh. Best of wishes!
  16. cant trim from bottom because of the lips there. you have to shape the top. its only spot you can do it from. i had to do it a bit on my TK kit because it would catch on the butt plate and “pop” incessantly. i also shaved off some butt plate too edit: i read @Allan1313 post after. he got you lol
  17. The gloss looks better. As @Allan1313 said trim from the top. Are the back of the thighs causing an issue when you walk with the buttplate? Unrelated to those pieces...paint the clips on the detonator black.
  18. @JoeShoe Seems (pun intended) reasonable. I will marinate on the seam line to see if there is a better way we can define it and where it should be situated...but I can get on board with this (pending any details we may find need to added from blu-ray of course).
  19. it is an improvement indeed. still looks like it could be smoother tho. you will get there!
  20. Give it time to set and fully dry. Sand with a super fine grit between each coat. You should be leaving at least 15 min...but I'd even go more just to be certain depending on what weather you're in. Be patient with it. Slow and steady will get the result you're looking for. Fit wise...I think it looks good...butt plate has a tad bit of flare out there but not anything crazy drastic that I can see. @IcyTrooper @Allan1313 @ukswrath @NINJAM0VE what do you think?
  21. Works now. How many coats on the gloss clear? It looks like you should do a fine grit sand on the coat and lay another one...maybe two. Get the gloss more smooth.
  22. Link isnt working for me but glad to hear you are on your way!
  23. The teeth look good. I made this side by side for you. Looks like the dome lines you had before are absent now. The side by side hopefully shows you the proportions of the bucket a bit. Seems like the screen version is a bit wider and not as tall. Anyways hope that helps you.
