@IcyTrooper I wasn't necessarily saying it had to be black for Level 1. Just noting that's what the original said. I'd be ok with a dark gray and/or contrasting matte black for Level 1. Lines (black) can be ok for Level 1 as well. The look is achieved and I don't think a dark gray or matte black would deviate from that. A standard or light gray would though and I would make sure that was clear. Level 2...solid black should be good.

Making marks for spelling/punctuation adjustment in red and some questions/things to check: Gray is acceptable color for helmet tears? Current CRL lists "solid black." Lines are acceptable in rear traps and tears? Current CRL lists "solid black." Please do a side-by-side check as well to confirm I didn't miss anything.

Adjusted Shadow Stormtrooper CRL tonight for thighs and shins to read in Level 2: "Must be constructed using the butt joint cover strip method." Can adjust those 2 items to read the same. This matches the biceps and forearms wording. We should all do a spell, punctuation, and grammar check AND cross reference to the Shadow Stormtrooper CRL (side by side cross-check) for detailed wording alignment that may have been adjusted when it was published. Other than that...details seem good to me.

Nice! Great Lakes Garrison...you should get in touch with @Fivezero. Yes I'd say the E-11 is big...maybe proportional to the trooper but I don't think it should be. Keep goin!

PROPOSED CRL MODIFICATION: Inferno Squad Del Meeko
RAIDER replied to MahXPrime's topic in Inferno Squad Del Meeko
Bu the way, @MahXPrime will we be able to have a suitable model to update the pics once this is ready? -
We would need the following for the main CRL: Full body front and back arms down (no weapons) I would also like to reshoot the flightsuit picture. Laid out more neatly (see Shadow Scout flightsuit pic). Both front and back. For the gallery we would need: Full body sides (left/right) Full body front/back/sides with TK belt on An up close shot of the telemetry unit That's all I see I think. The boots up there on the individual piece (not the main model) look like the soon-to-be acceptable Level 1 version. We would need to link/update the picture for the Engineer black boots (once updated) to the gallery as acceptable for the army trooper as well. Best most professional looking, clean shot you can muster...neutral background for easier cutout.

PROPOSED CRL MODIFICATION: Inferno Squad Del Meeko
RAIDER replied to MahXPrime's topic in Inferno Squad Del Meeko
We will pause here till @Blackwatch is able to catch up the "finalized" (not really finalized lol) text thread with what has been covered regarding the flightsuit, compad, and now this vest. -
Proposal for updates to the Army Engineer
RAIDER replied to ShovelGuy's topic in Imperial Army Engineer
Just copying this thought over here from the Army Trooper as well so it's posted here... Alright then...so shorter boot is now mandatory...still black. Any TK belt allowed as optional for Level 1. Specifically must not have buttons (ROTJ TK style) for Level 2 (though ANH sized drop down boxes are required...not ROTJ). Am I overthinking it? With the LMOs ratified...we simply need to finalize these bits and then get pictures. -
First Order Jet Trooper CRL Discussion
RAIDER replied to IcyTrooper's topic in First Order Jet Trooper
Ok...starting from the top...I did some strikethroughs and yellow for suggested cleanups. Points of concern in orange (I think lol). And finally: Do we need a line a bout the inward slope of the bottom edge of the helmet? Additionally the "gap" that should be created from the lens to the brow (the interior of that brow has a ridged detail similar to the Sith Trooper that should probably be a Level 2 requirement...may want to check Sith Trooper drafts to see how that was worded for consistency). The bottom cheek "circular parts" look to be tube-ish in shape extending/wrapping into the chin interior of the helmet. Some line there perhaps and potential for an L2 requirement there maybe? -
224th imperial swamp trooper gunner : "Korso"
RAIDER replied to mike ford's topic in Mudtrooper Heavy Gunner (Korso)
All clear from LMO and should have no issues with Underworld. -

I will check with LMOs how we can proceed -
224th imperial swamp trooper gunner : "Korso"
RAIDER replied to mike ford's topic in Mudtrooper Heavy Gunner (Korso)
Cool. We would not be able to push an official "Korso" here more than likely...being a disguise character BUT we could potentially create a generic "Heavy Gunner" (or some naming like that) Mudtrooper which would basically carry the same details. -

PROPOSED CRL MODIFICATION: Inferno Squad Del Meeko
RAIDER replied to MahXPrime's topic in Inferno Squad Del Meeko
@TX-20113 Can we get some shots of the straps as well front/back? -
Just chiming in. I've read it. For my part just so it's out in the open...I'm trying to clear other CRL projects to make room for more of my attention to this when the blu-ray drops. We have quite a bit of the drafting process done. What we come up with now will need to be fact-checked to whatever info we can glean (if anything new) from the blu-ray footage. It's the same approach we did w/ our last movie costume the Mudtrooper. What I can say...regarding the counted details. I cannot imagine a GML attempting to count each and every line detail on all of these pieces. Thinking out loud (and feel free to say I'm wrong lol)...but a range may be the better approach. This may also help accomodate larger/smaller members that may have to mod the details (i.e. the number of grooves) in order to maintain proportionality with their body. Then...we can if it's absolutely necessary add specific counts to Level 2. Thoughts?

That sucks. We don't intervene with vendor issues...but we can flag them if necessary. PM me if you'd like.

Proposal for updates to the Army Engineer
RAIDER replied to ShovelGuy's topic in Imperial Army Engineer
Wanna get your girlfriend to take a few shots of you showing how it would look? ? -
Thanks. This looks closer to the Black Series fig and a realistic version of the one found in Rebels.

I only see these 2 shots that indicate any type of holster (shots involving the officers would not be relevant)...but cant fully make out any details about them.

PROPOSED CRL MODIFICATION: Inferno Squad Del Meeko
RAIDER replied to MahXPrime's topic in Inferno Squad Del Meeko
@Blackwatch just wrap up the compad when you can. I spoke to a staff member at JRS that will be assigned to reviewing this with us...he asked if we could hold temporarily on the shared parts till he has full clearance from his DL. For now...we can focus on the Del-specific parts (not a forever wait...just for a bit)...so after the compad let's move to the tactical vest. -
Coming along nicely. Ive actually never seen someone employ one rank stripe. Interesting choice

Jsin/KB Jet Trooper Build
RAIDER replied to Supreme_Leader_66's topic in First Order Sith Jet Trooper
Very nice! You are indeed the first to drop in here which puts you on the radar (in a good way). Keep us updated on your build. @IcyTrooper should have a draft of the CRL ready soon...and then from there we tighten it up as a community and look at what builders are able to (or willing to) meet those standards based on the references. At this point, all TROS CRLs are in somewhat of a holding pattern as we wait for the blu-ray release to see if there is any footage or screen caps that can be pulled to decipher what the actual "on-screen" costume details are (compared to kits we see used as promotional displays or Hot Toys figures...which though accurate to a strong degree would not supercede the screen references). Good luck on your build! Following with interest. -
Copy that @ShovelGuy. Alright then...so shorter boot is now mandatory but black and green allowed at Level 1. Green only at Level 2.

Lol @Bfkn at your proof of cutout.
