  1. Great question. It would not be no. References we have for Shadows are ANH based primarily and the CRL reflects that.
  2. Is our latest text draft up to date with edits made for compad and flightsuit? If so, lets focus on getting the tactical vest text complete
  3. No timeline can be given. As a reference point, when the Solo Blu-Ray launched, the final Mudtrooper CRL (which had been largely drafted ahead of time much like this Sith Trooper) did not publish for almost another 4 months. I would estimate it may take longer given the current state of the world at this point but I know we are working to clear things from the slate as much as we can so that extra focus and attention can be given to the Sith Trooper. That's about the best info I can give you.
  4. You are very welcome! Also check the cog size on the shoulder bell against these references and the CRL. Yours looks big but I cant really tell.
  5. Right (no panel) Left (panel...here gray-ish...we have a game footage shot that looks darker/black) Just to note...this isnt actually a CRL requirement but its something that might be looked at for Level 2 requirement in the (near) future.
  6. Very nice @BLACKFOX! With that pack, leading up to the CRL publishing, the biggest issue we found was the canister size (which he updated to be more accurate)...I'm guessing this is that updated canister. The other thing...on the sides of the pack there are what look to be panels. When he originally made the pack, both sides had black panels. Only the left should be black. I'm not sure if it's possible, but the right should really have no panel at all...the CRL gallery shows the right painted white at the very least. Check the CRL gallery for weathering references as well for the cylinder caps, rocket vents, etc. Best wishes in getting this to the finish line.
  7. Yes it should be, if following the game reference exactly, layered leather strips.
  8. Several have. It is something that is being addressed in an update for clarity (currently in progress but has slowed with most of team occupied with COVID life adjusting). Right now, the CRL wording states “ribbed leather or leather like material.”. Thats it. That would be up to your GML to decide...the game shot is most definitely what it should look like BUT the wording is a bit vague at the moment...the pics do show what has been acceptable since the CRL launched. Those types of straps wont be accepted at all when the update processes and we can get new model pictures.
  9. I just uploaded some ones Darren had told me to grab. I will add these here that we don't have. Thanks @gmrhodes13!
  10. I've updated more reference pics (an old email I found that was overlooked and a few here) and I believe with the new blu ray coming out just a couple more batches should do it. This one pic file though, the forums won't take (jfif). Any way to get it as a jpeg or png? @JAFO may have it...recently messaged me saying he had a folder with some for us to put here.
  11. @JAFO provided me a gallery of behind the scenes pics from the early digital release. I will update our reference thread.
  12. Good to see you back on it @Bozzy
  13. Not off hand. The armor is the same as ANH (New Hope) Stormtrooper...not rogue one if that helps
  14. Lots of options in terms of armor. Some more accurate than others in terms of how sculpt matches the actual movie references. My suggestion is to paint the armor a satin/matte...personal preference. With that in mind, you don't necessarily need to get the armor pulled in black plastic...and in a few of these kits they are the 5 piece helmet build (like the screen helmets...2 dome pieces, 2 visor pieces, and front mask) which would require some work to cover seams and ultimately would require painting anyways. RS Props (UK based...I mostly see full commission builds from them) Chef's Creations (UK based...what I own) Studio Creations Faraway Creations Walt's Trooper Factory Kropserkel There may be others but those are the ones I'm familiar with. In your area of Australia there is also a bucket maker (Altmann...not sure if I've spelled that right)...nice helmet...a little bit bigger if you need a larger sized helmet. Soft goods...most of these suppliers also supply the soft goods or have someone they source their soft goods from. If you'd like to make your own flightsuit mod, vest, and bund...we have tutorials on those here in our forums. I'd suggest reaching out to @nanotek in your own garrison as I know he recently put together his own soft goods for his Shadow Scout build. Boots...also very do-able on your own (just some black marine vinyl...pins to stretch it...and a base boot which can be found at several retailers on the cheap...mine were from K-Mart. I've seen Wal-Mart boots used as well) but again many of the armor suppliers can provide boots too.
  15. Sorry to hear that. To clarify...you haven’t settled on a kit yet?
  16. Would it be possible for me to see where we are at as far as text draft on this piece? I've seen a few proposals...where has it landed @nanotek (at least for now)?
  17. from what I can tell there is no shin armor. you'd see it at the very bottom of the boot and the straps around the boot if it was there. zoom up close on the full body stock pic and you can see there's nothing there.
  18. Yea Im aware of the Blizzard adds. Theres a bit more to why they were added (which I can discuss with you via pm) and, unless the Battlefront video game is stretched as the reference, knowing what I know, Id say they should not have been added.
  19. Great info! Yes Korso (CRL would be named some generic type of trooper) is a viable option. It looks like the switch from a regular muddie to this heavy version would be new helmet, chest, and coat...lose the shins and respirator. Belt(s) are the big question. As far as adding it to the standard CRL...based on references I dont think that would be a possibilty This would have to be something specific to this trooper variant (much like the scout pistol is an option for only the Val style).
  20. In checking references one last time, noticed the aerator interior is listed as white. Primary comic reference shows red interior with black outline...however, the vocoder is done the same way in the comic art (more than likely to show texture and depth). Adding black as a Level 2 option for aerator interior.
  21. Technically we are way past the closing point on this but giving it a final bump for final opinions. CRL model pics are being finalized and prepped. Should be sending this off for publishing soon.
  22. @IcyTrooper I checked the wiki code for the Shadow Trooper pauldron text...it's a pre-loaded "blackpauldron" code.
