I agree with your information here! The pauldron color looks just like the black leather one I have for my shadow stormtrooper, so I'd definitely agree with it being black rather than gray. I also did a little work on that strap text: A black strap, made from leather or leather-like material, extends from the front left corner, under the arm and attaches at the back left corner. Strap is attached out of sight, under the armpit and under the pauldron by a buckle that resembles a ratchet-strap and as per the reference image. For the ammo cartridges they very closely resemble Phase II ROTS chest ammo packs and rig, so I think your description is good for that. The 327th Star Corps (https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CT_-_327th_Star_Corps) and Utapau Shadow Commander (https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CX_212thUtapauShadowCloneCommander) come to mind.

My opinion would be the darker green if you are doing the regular Imperial Army Trooper.

Purge Trooper (Phase II) - Kenobi - Discussion
IcyTrooper replied to nanotek's topic in Purge Trooper Phase II (Kenobi)
FYI, the first post in this thread has been updated now for CRL progression. -
I forgot that I had written some text for this costume before (like in 2020) when the threads started becoming active. Here is some food for thought from what I had done before, to add @tipperaryred: Flight Suit Must be a cotton or cotton blend, one or two-piece garment, and must be properly fitted and shaped to the wearer. Must not have any visible pockets, pouches or zippers. The upper body part of the flight suit is a maroon-colored. The neck area of the flight suit goes halfway up the neck of the wearer to conceal skin when the helmet is worn. On each shoulder of the flight suit there is a white Imperial Cog emblem on a black background. The cog is 3” (76.2mm) or 3.5” (88.9mm) diameter and 1” (25.4mm) from the shoulder seam. The cog may be embroidered or vinyl. The lower body part of the flight suit is colored to match the white of the armor pieces. The lower body part of the flight suit has the following seams: On the outside of each leg there is a double-lapped seam which runs the entire length of the suit showing from the top of the shins up under the belt. On the front just above the top of the knee armor which wraps around to the back of the flight suit and appears on the back. On the back from the knee seam there is a seam that runs up the back of each thigh and then curves to the outside of the back under the belt. There is a horizontal seam that runs across the butt connecting both of these seams running up the back of each thigh. On the back there is central double-lapped seam which runs from under the belt to the crotch of the wearer.

Imperial Security Trooper - Andor - CRL Discussion
IcyTrooper replied to nanotek's topic in Imperial Security Trooper - Andor
I'm in agreement with internal lining being moved to a L2 detail, as it isn't a normally visible part. I say we go with the latest posting of @Blackwatch and then moving to the next item. -
Based on the official images from FFG we can see a T-21 in one as well as a bandolier on another, so I'm making a motion to include both as optional accessories as well: Bandolier ANH style Stormtrooper ammo belt in black that is proportional to the wearer. Comprised of five evenly spaced rectangular boxes on the front and a five evenly spaced rectangular boxes on the back. Ammo belts are attached to belt strips made of leather or leather-like material with silver snaps at the end of each ammo belt for a total of eight snaps, four on the front and four on the back. Completed belt is worn diagonally across the chest. Belts may be light to moderately weathered. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Bandolier is worn atop the left shoulder. T-21 Light Repeating Blaster Rifle Manufactured by BlasTech Industries. Based on a real or replica Lewis Mark I machine gun. For this prop the magazine disk and bipod of the original gun are left off. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): A ribbed length of tubing shall be installed over the front of the gun barrel. A black canvas, leather, or nylon sling shall be attached. Any buckles used to attach sling to blaster shall be black. Sight shall be present on top where ribbing meets base.

New Rocket Trooper in Jedi Survivor (minor spoilers)
IcyTrooper replied to ericnathan811's topic in Rocket Trooper
@ericnathan811 thanks for the post! We do have the Rocket Trooper from Battlefront, so this would be in our detachment from what we see! We'd definitely assist you with a new-to-the-Legion (NTTL) costume process. We'll take these images and create a reference pictures thread for it and perhaps a separate subforum if needed so that both games are separate. Since you have the game we may see if you can snag some more as we go through it! Additionally, we'll start the process with the Legion on inclusion of this costume. -
How ya doing on this @Fivezero?!

I don't think we'll need L2 for anything else on the undersuit stuff for now, so we can progress to the Pauldron and rest Here is the finalized text worked up: Undersuit and Neck Seal Undersuit has one-piece or two-piece construction with no visible zippers or logos. All materials are low-sheen leather or leather-like material. Neck seal may be integrated into the suit, or worn over it. Neck seal has 1.5” (38.1mm) vertical ribs. Spacings of the ribs given below are approximate. Shirt has vertical 1” (25.4mm) ribbing across the torso. The horizontal arm ribs taper from approximately 1" (25.4) wide at the torso to ¾" (19mm) at the wrist. Sleeves are joined to the torso with a curved ¼” (6.3mm) rib. The pants have a heavier taper in the vertical rib spacing, starting at 1.5" (38.1mm) wide at the waist to ¾" (19mm) above the ankle. Ribbing appears to meet behind the cod piece. Shoulder Bib Material is low-sheen leather or leather-like material, matching the undersuit. Spacing of the ribs given below are approximate. Center front of the bib has three 1.5" (38.1mm) vertical ribs, with 1.5" (38.1mm) horizontal ribbing on either side. Center rear of the bib has ten 1.5" (38.1mm) vertical ribs, with 1.5" (38.1mm) horizontal ribbing on either side. There is a ½" (12.7mm) rib running along the outside of the garment and around the inside of the neck.

Questions about Hard Parts
IcyTrooper replied to stormachtig's topic in Imperial Army Trooper - Andor
You should be fine adding an additional extension plate for it to connect, as that would allow for a greater range of body types. This was common with Rogue One stuff. The AT-ACT driver and Imperial Combat Assault Tank Drivers have these, that was fun doing that when I did my R1 tank driver -
Imperial Security Trooper - Andor - CRL Discussion

Pictures have been loaded into the reference thread. The CRL team will continue compiling stuff that they may have for other versions, but feel free to link from the reference thread the pics into this as needed (no need to re-upload). -
Do em all!!!

Just so everyone is aware, this topic is visible to me and the team are discussing it. CRLs are living and breathing documents, they can change. In my experience, CRLs change when new information is brought to light (as is here) and that information is vetted to be appropriate for a change to the CRL. The current situation here is that we have had a discussion going since October 2022, as stated by the team, in which we talked to great lengths about the color and agreement for it and then before the ink dries on it we are already discussing a revision. Creating a thread, as this, is definitely the proper way to go about this for transparency; however, we'll need some time to digest this. I'm not saying no, but want to make sure processes are safe guarded.

Imperial Flametrooper (Jedi Fallen Order)
IcyTrooper replied to stevechewbacca's topic in Imperial Flametrooper (JFO)
Hmmm, I'm thinking about the vinyl that is shinier but what does it do when you heat it up? I'm not sure if that stuff can be backed with glue and then heated to press it into the plastic grooving? That is a good question thought because I hadn't thought about that detailed part. I wonder if we were to make the part above the red line a greeblie and then use the vinyl to make it seamless at the red spot where it will meet the greeblie?: -
Awwww, that is what I'm afraid of with my costumes! Love to have you back though! I did a double check on the DB and there are currently 14 total Swamp Troopers ...not far from when you retired it.

A 501st Newbie: A Death Trooper Story
IcyTrooper replied to GrandMoff501st's topic in Imperial Death Trooper
Just a little context from what I have read and understand with regards to Denuo Novo vs Anovos. Denuo Novo needed to have a plan for fulfilling backorders whilst still delivering current orders in order to grab the license from Anovos. I wish that they would have chosen a different name because the operations have been completely different from the predecessor. I hope that your DT helmet does get fulfilled and I certain that it will. I've known others to be getting their stuff that Anovos had promised them and were paid for ages ago. I also understand and sympathize with those who were wronged by Anovos and are still waiting for their stuff, that should have never happened.
