The whole costume is Polyurethane (flexible rubber) with a shore strength of hard. Maybe around the Shore A70 or Shore D20-30.

If we do include it, it would be optional for level 2, not a mandatory level 2 requirement

Should be moved to L2, it is a separate requirement about hexagonal mesh not appearing between the teeth. The FOTK from TLJ has mesh between the teeth and is a L1 requirement. I'm not sure how you would see something like that from a generic application. I am starting to think however that this is not a generic costume, and should be submitted differently for approval. You won't be able to see all the different sections of the armour with standard front, sides and back shots. Even with the L1 the way it is

I don’t know where the original concept came from and not sure it’s relevant to us as it is a made part. It has been referred to as a clip greeblie since the beginning. It was taken from other CRLs and is the general terminology used by the community. I have created a document to outline the different clip greeblies used across this costume

What it’s referring to is the design of the straps is form fitting to the shoulder line. Purely straight straps don’t sit flush with the curve between the back and the front of the armour. Here is a pic of what is being talked about This pic is taken from Mr Paul’s Deathtrooper buckle set. I’m not sure if there are other makers out there. Someone else might be able to chime in. The curve allows the straps to sit flush with the armour as it curves over and around to the front of the armour.
