Yeah I extended mine by about 1.5 inches. Yeah some of the details are more chunky?

Is it just me or does that new ab look weird? The older one seems to be correct to me?

Hi there, there are three blasters available for the canon DT and are listed in the CRL: Modified DLT-19 E-11D SE-14r

Welcome to SpecOps! You also have the ArmoryShop which is based out of Moscow. Good luck with your build and feel free to ask questions!

Deathtrooper armor question?
nanotek replied to Endor7's topic in Armor/Soft Parts and Where to Find Them
Oh that's a shame, his files were the best. I am not sure if anyone else has created them from scratch to the same level of detail. Does anyone else have any suggestions? -
Another trooper asked about which parts are painted with the Tamiya TS40 Metallic Black paint. I did up some quick schematics highlighting in green the panels that have the paint applied. I will update this thread with the helmet and may also look at weathering as well at some point. If anyone has any corrections please let me know

Death Trooper armor question
nanotek replied to viewoptic's topic in Armor/Soft Parts and Where to Find Them
As a general comment weathering is optional. With the shoulder bells, I wanted it to be subtle so used the metallic black, but I have not "weathered" them yet. Check out all the pictures of the DT's on display, there are some great shots of the armour there. You will get a wealth of information from there -
Death Trooper armor question
nanotek replied to viewoptic's topic in Armor/Soft Parts and Where to Find Them
I tried to do this as quickly as I could and chip in anyone who thinks this is wrong (and I am still going to the helmet I just need time) The green represents where the Tamiya Metallic Black gets applied (TS-40 from memory) -

Deathtrooper armor question?
nanotek replied to Endor7's topic in Armor/Soft Parts and Where to Find Them
Hi there and welcome! The only person I knew that was selling the DT armour files was Tom Campbell. You can find him on Facebook. Also through TDK Props on Facebook. -
Great to have you back Mr Toots. Let's get the CRL sorted out and L2 requirements up! I'm psyched up!

I did notice the difference in your shins but didn't think it would be a problem as a lot of GML's aren't really paying attention to details and passing just about everything. Good on your GML for being thorough but yeah that really sucks. I got my shins from Dennis before he made the modifications so it was still Tom's original one. It's a little hard to get on and off. The key is to smooth out the inside so that it's like glass. Makes it easier! Gutted for you brohammer but also, you will have a better costume

Careful obsessing over this picture as the biceps are on wrong -
I thought that might be the case! Also where did you get the sticker for your SE-14r? Looks good!

Looking great mate! Now that it is going to start getting warmer you'll be done in no time. You need to practice the puppy dog eyes on the missus to keep the ball rolling

Pretty cool build! Looking forward to seeing how this will all come together!

Nice work Trooper. Looking forward to the BBB update! -
Hey Geoff. As I suggested on Facebook, upload the pics of the thickness etc so others can chip in. Here was my advice again: “I'm not sure what you could do. My one was made by Phoenix props and has the correct 3 layers which allowed the holes to be drilled separately. I think if you try to drill into this you run the risk of either going too far, or not far enough to tap it properly. A possible option would be to either glue it directly to the belt, you would need to remove the ribs and rough up the back and then glue†Or You create another plate with the the necessary attachment accessory and glue that to the buckle so you can fix it to the belt.

Looks good mate. Not far off at all. How's your belt coming along? -
For your buckles, rockets etc, may I suggest using the Tamiya TS-17 Aluminium Silver spray, It's what I used on my buckles and E-11D blast and it looks great

That's looking really good! Nice work! Is that a Rogue One bucket?

Nice!

I saw this up on Facebook, looks awesome! I'm sure someone can help supply the sticker! So close now!
